Lighting CobShop review

While hps still has a special place in my heart unfortunately the 25% increase from our lovely electric company has put a big stop to this here.
The good thing for me with side by side grows is everyone comes back for more.

I'm working towards not needing the HPS heat for the "room" in cooler temps.. I don't run currently during summer as your aware from our conversations. I was at 1600w and a few space heaters in a 10x16 (good to about 40*F).. hoping the autocobs and 1k along with new insulation in my new 10x20 space will be good. Then improve upon that..

Thanks again BigSmO.. I expect to be back for more eventually. ;)

Same hear. I have 2x600 HPS and bought 2 autocobs, then 2 more, then 2 more and finally (ra right!) my last 2. I pulled out one of the HPS cool tube fixture and put in a medical grade UVB fixture. And removed the cool tube exhaust system completely now that I don't have to worry about over heating in the summer months now. All I need to do is figure how to add some heat in the winter. Going to start with some high R pink insulation on the tent roof and see how that goes. Will likely still need a oil filled space heater but hopefully now at full blast like I had to do last winter.

I won one in the giveaway and purchased 4 more for my 4x4 Gorilla. My smaller tent (44"x44"x6') 3x3 advertised held my 600w last season.. bump up to 1k in a 6" Blockbuster hood. The oil filled heaters run on low to medium once temps dip below 40, and I exhaust back inside at that point.

Mrs doesn't like the idea of me doing so in house so i'm forced to battle temps in my detached garage. Cant say that I blame her with kids.. hoping my state goes rec and home grow soon though. Then I just might toss the kids out.. got plans for their rooms! ;)

I'll share more on my space once in a journal once i'm up and running.
