*Please note that this grow will only start in August 2013*
Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the Coco thread!!
It has given me the inspiration to do a coco grow and also the needed kick to get all the grow parameters as good as possible!
I went to the hydro store yesterday to pick up supplies and to browse!
The grow room will also be undergoing a bit of a renovation over the next few months. Stuff will be moved and any repairs will be done.
I decided that since my room is quite large and i only grow in a small section of it, i would line the walls in that section with this:
Apparently it is pretty good and will reflect up to 97% of the radiant energy!
So 3 walls will be lined and i will also make up a moveable section so that the entire grow is surrounded by the foil, should improve light quantity over the whole plant. Well that is the idea!
Everyone knows what 2 gallon square pots look like, so no picture of them!
The coco i will be using is this:
Here is a direct link to the product:
http://www.hydroponix.com/english/g...0l-substrat-de-coco-de-qualite-superieur.html
It is pre-washed and buffered and has some pretty good reviews on other forums.
For water management, namely PH issues i will be using this stuff:
And for nutes i will be using House and Garden Coco's A+B
And for the beneficial bacteria i will be using a product called Zenzyme.
Made locally in Canada the lady at the hydro store uses it and said her results were good, so i thought it would be worth a try!
Some info on the product:

Also good for drip systems, which is what this may end up being.
On that note i am still deciding on what type of system to run.
I am thinking of hand watering this first run, which will be a Dragon run.
They will be a trial run and there will be pollination happening!!!
Once they are pollinated and the males removed i will be starting a run of Tangerine Dream by Barney's Farm.
I am still thinking of building a drip system for coco, recirculate for veg and DTW for flower. That may only be in the future though, we will see!
For lighting i will be using my Bysen LED panels from start to finish.
So that is it for now!
The waiting continues...
Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated!
