TIME!
:baby::baby::baby::baby::baby:

On the way back from the VA clinic, I stopped you and picked up some blocks of dry ice. I now have quite a nice sizable amount of fresh froze Asian Haze sitting in two ice chest getting down to temperature.
This time I think I'm going to separate the finer results and make some temple balls.:eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows:
I think that they should be significantly cured by Christmas time to be given out as presents.

The house completely reeks of canna!

Well here are the results! I'm pretty happy with the production. It was quite a bit of bud to work.
The worked material is now under a fan to help the remaining small bits of dry ice to evaporate and the material to dry out. I think I'm gonna let the material dry a bit more than I usually do to see if I can get more of the chlorophyll out. It's gonna be quite a few cycles to get it all worked in the Ardent FX. I have been contemplating just feeding it to the worms at this point but like I have done from the beginning, since I shake for quality, there's still quite a bit of medicine left in the material.

And the quality is definitely there. There is not a hint of green in any of the material, even the second shake is nice and light golden blonde. I have the trays sitting in my walk in closet to dry. I really wished I had already upgraded my press to the XP! That's gonna be a lot of squishing on the Mini! It should be dry enough to pack up and start squishing tomorrow morning.

I think I'm gonna squish these trays.
This is the second shake tray and there is a deceptively large amount of hash there!

And I'm going to attempt to Frenchy Cannoli this tray. I took a little pitch from the edge and was able to manipulate it fairly quickly into a little hash ball working it with my finger and thumb.

The first Asian Haze I grew Outdoors was all made into hash and then temple balls and blocks. I never pressed any into Rosin.

The fresh froze dry ice Asian Haze from earlier this week is all packaged up and ready for pressing.

I did a 180*F press and here's what I got! It was very easy to harvest off the parchment paper and I probably should have took a picture because it was a big glob.

So just a couple of days sitting around at room temperature, it seems to have formed a kind of a crumbly texture.

And it's a pretty hardcore rosin!

I was going to try a 170*F press, but the terpenes are definitely there and I'm very happy with the production and also the end structure of the rosin. I really don't think the 170*F will improve The quality or texture. It will only hurt end production amount.

Now all I've got is 14 more 4.8 gram presses!

I want to throw this out there and see what sticks!

I was going to Sprout all my next seeds in cloning pucks and the into the final pots as soon as the seedlings were hardened off....couple days after fully unfurling.

I'm thinking I may change that. I'll be using Blumat with the Drip Ring for my watering. I've never used a system like this before and I'm really leery of stunting by over watering. The carrots do come pre adjusted, but would need to be fine tweaked For my particular setup. I'm pretty sure I can quickly get the plant to the proper size before turning on the system and then adjust the carrots to the pot for the ideal moisture level. I have sensors for each pot, both top and bottom.

I do have some cheap one gallon thin transparent material transplant bags. I used them for the clones of Asian Haze. I got great plant growth and crazy root growth . With all the air pruning with those bags, there were lots and lots of root tips that went crazy after I transplanted those one gallon bags.

Keeping with the same procedure of potting up the day of transplant, I make sure the media is at the ideal moisture level in the tote and then fill the pot and transplant. I'm thinking I may get more of a robust root explosion growing in that fashion. I'm thinking that I should be able to turn on the watering system about a week after the transplant.

That would pretty much match with the same time frame I had figured that I would start the auto watering with direct planting of the seedling, but I think I will have a bit larger and more established root system and larger plant.

Once I have the carrots fine tweaked for these pots, I can run autos and just turn the system on when they are large enough.

If I do use the one gallon transplant procedure, I'm definitely going to take a look at the root ball after chop.

Asian Haze 1 gallon pot. This thing is insane Bill! It's just over 4 ft tall after topping twice, it's been under 12 12 for over a month now after switching the light schedule around day 30 from seed. I had 3 going at the start, one immediately flipped into flower and is about half way through flowering. One of them got bigger than this one and I couldn't keep up with its drinking problems lol it was drinking a fifth and 2 30 packs a day  but honestly it just got too big and I should have transplanted it into a 7 gallon but didn't have the room. The one that's well into flower has a very interesting sour aroma and some super greasy flowers. I bet someone could easily fill a 5x5 with one of these and pull some heavy weight.

That's pretty interesting with the one going into flower pretty quickly. That may be more in line what the old guy was trying to do with this particular strain. The smaller of the two grown outdoors did flower before the bigger version.

I really kinda think that the larger pheno you have to hit pretty hard with the light, top and then train very hard.......in an effort to help with the node spacing and crazy upwards growth. At times, the big girl outside grew 10 inches in a week and at her max was drinking the three gallon reservoir in less than 36 hours.

Girls look great! I'm glad you're enjoying them!
