Old Reviews Control Wizard Accurate 8 pH meter

And yes, you want to get the hanna. Do not let yourself be led from the path by other, cheaper meters.

Fucking Hell, What is up with all the no talent assclowns on amazon that can't get an order right to save their lives? I hate ordering things online :cuss:

I ordered the Wizard ph 8 from WVTurtle's link and they called today to say they were out of those but had one just like it they could substitute for the same low price. Sure looks just like it but has anyone used the 'Prestige Soil pH and Moisture Meter'. The only review I see on Amazon says the plastic fell of the prob right off. Anyone had this with the Wizard.

That looks like the exact same meter being sold under another name. They are made in China so maybe someone is branding them here in the US. Just make sure it has the 12" probe. I saw another Prestige that looks the same as the Kelway with the short, stubby probe. I also have a Kelway and find the long probe works much better. In order for the plastic to break off it most likely was dropped. It's a two piece plastic construction, the body and a screw on ring over the dial. Maybe they broke the ring.

Found another brand name (Accurate) and several non brand names that look and read exactly the same as Wizard. Those from Hong Kong are around $35 including shipping but I bought one for $45 free shipping from Sunflowersupplies NY on ebay.

Ouch, those are the bad ones. With ph meters "looks alike" doesn't work. Gotta stick with the ones that work.
