New Grower Day 32 Think Different Grow 1st Time How Do They Look

heres some pics of the think differents. a little background, the scrog is under 600hps hortiluxe the other side is under 900w Mars 2 Led with another 700w as well.. Using transition dose nutes by KIND botanicaire,rhizo,root excelerator . was using veg nutes up until about a week ago when i switched to transition which is both. Should I switch completely to bloom nutes now? or should i wait another week? The LED side is clearly way shorter an bushy so i moved the leds up way higher hoping they would stretch a bit . (about 2.5') they are 5 w leds so should be fine.. Let me know what you guys think!

they look pretty darn nice. Healthy too.
How are they growing? Still shooting up? I have been waiting until they stop stretching pretty much. To my mind they can use the N while they are growing so fast. Then I start bloom and resin feeding.

i tucked a bunch of leaves last night for half an hour and bent stems to make them spread more horizontally and they grew about 2" from yesterday under the hps. The led side is growing much slower vertically but are probably the bushiest plants ive seen in a while... maybe 2 cm a day or so. ill snap some more pics tomorrow. i watered and fed today both sides. gave them ec of about 1.3 ph of 6.2 mix of kind by botanicaire grow and bloom (what they call transition stage) and going to do that for another week and a half then switch to straight bloom with massive enhancer. any thoughts on how i could get the led TD's to stretch more? Do i want them to stretch or would those little guys even yield anything decent? They dont look like they are behind the HPS side in terms of stage of growth but they are about 6-7" shorter....

Forgot to ask. At the bottom near the soil there are leaves which dont get any light and are resting on the soil itself. they get burnt by nutes when i water and are partially yellow. Should i trim those off?? and should i Defoliate so the inside can get more light or should i just continue tucking the big ones under the bud sites?

Hey dude, I'm a beginner but I'll just throw my 2 cents in.

@ day 32 they are still in the stretch phase so just wait and see how the led plant reacts, if it looks healthy I wouldn't raise the LED to high that you end up reducing Par for the rest of your plant, some just grow short and bushy, it's not about height it's about weight and more importantly potency at the end of the day

As for the lower growth and leaves getting g burnt due to watering, I just let mine grow and do there thing. When it comes time to harvest you can chop the upper colas first and let the bottom go longer.

What do you use for resin feeding? i have liquid karma from botanicaire. is that for resin?

I alway pluck my leafs that are down deep not doin anything posative. Dont want pests to start to colonize under them dead leafs. I pull an odd leaf here and there that is blockin a bud site also and find no real bad after effects. I would not go crazy and pull too many as they are the solar panels for the plants that help em make sugars and stuff. Photosynthesis right dont want to interfere with that. Lookin pretty good though man you should have a nice canopy if you keep tuckin them branches. I like to scrog myself but have not done it in the last two grows. Dont know why I just didnt.. Keep it goin lookin good...K.I.M.

Those are looking great! I'm also growing Think Different for the first time. We've both got airpots and Mars II's. Well my Mars 700 is in the mail. Was wondering if you could give your thoughts on the Mars lights. How do you like them?

I'm gonna keep checking in on this grow since we've got somewhat similar setups. What kind of soil/nutrient approach are you using?

Hi mate I'm doing td at mo under 300 led and 600 duel spec hps there on week 8. Your girls will stretch just give them time. I would flower under hps instead ov led. Cause I've seen as I've done the grow I'm on now that the girl under led was the healthiest and bushyest girl I had until flower then u could see a big difference in bud production from girl under led to girls under hid plus girl under led didn't stretch as much as girls under hid check out my thread and see pics.
