Hi AFN
Just made this system, never tried it out yet.
I will start my first ever grow journal in the hydro forum.
i will post the link when i get started.
The system is driven by an airpump. to pump the water/nutes to the plant.
and Recirculate back to the reservoir.
I made a drawing of it (tried to).
Here are som pics.

nice my friend!!...i do have a question though....how is the air pump pumping the water up through the water line??...and have you tested it out yet??..:smokebuds:P.S.....welcome to AFN my friend!!......

well the water goes from the bottom of the reservoir via a one way valve (aquarium equipment) to a 1L bottle.
When the airpimp is on, the air pressure in the 1L bottle will close the valve. and the air pressure in the 1L bottle will pump the water out.
There is also a airstone connected on the airline to pump air to the reservoir when the pump is on.
Its a little trycky.
i have tested the system for 14 day now (no plants). it works
i hope it also work with plant in the system.

brilliant brotha!!!...i can't wait to see this thing in action!!.......:smokebuds:

Nice DIY set up mate  look forward to seeing you grow with it :pimp:

Hell yeah. You could probably run the air through an air stone to oxygenate the water and provide air pressure.. oh you did. I just suck at reading.

A little update about this system.
Work in progress
i have put in a velleman vm188 pulse timer to the airpump
it`s on 1 minute every 30 minutes and pumps about 3dl of water every time its on. thats about 14 liter of water thru the system in 24 hours.
:dance2:
Peace

After I'm done tinkering with my light I'll make a TFR hydro setup like this. Using air pressure to drive water and nutes is brilliant, can't say it enough.

Have a go at it..
It sees to work pretty good so far.. But the test run is not over yet. i have my fingers crossed.
when i start a new grow with it.ill post some better pictures of the system..
