Photography "dual wheelding" volksgarden 175 kripplebery by dr krippling

In your honest opinion how difficult would it be to build your own that worked as good or better?

I guess I didn't realize you were running 150 ish plants. That's epic man - you're going to have two dense columns of cannabis there. I'm excited for you.

Subbing on this one!!! I have to see how this turns out. I've seen the volksgarden advertised but I want to see it used!

@nuskool89 i honestly think ud be able to build one out of pvc pipe connected to two strong plastic boards on each end something like this

http://www.420magazine.com/forums/d...en-rotogro-gigrow-bonsia-bpod-odessy-etc.html

maybe not that big but in that range, also with a diy one u can make it so there is more space for roots to grow, these plants r only in a 3 inch rockwool cube. i would also use a bigger motor since these use lilttle baby motors that break pretty easily. and thanks for the vibes:thumbs:

@gradolabs - i know its hard to see in the pics sorry about that

So before I started I knew my motors were old so I bought replacements and put them on so I wouldn't have problems for awhile. So I saw the hps wheels motor was starting to give so I kept checking on it to see if it stopped. Yesterday morning it was no longer spinning so I put the old motor on and will be ordering a new one later tonight to have on standby for when it happens again. Here's a pic of a plant after I got the wheel spinning again so it's on the wrong side n facing down because it was on the other side when the wheel stopped and what happens is the plants realize which way is actually up so the plants stopped upside down will Bend and grow actually up instead towards the light. Soon so the wheel starts spinning for a few hours the plants will start to grow back towards the light.

The motors burn out that easily? Yikes, hope that old one hangs in there for you!

I have been totally hangin' out to see one of these perform in a 'real-time' forum! :jump:

@southsyder glad I can help, I'll be posting an update in a few, from a quick glance it looks like the led is killin the hps right now

@mindzeye. Yeah the motors crap out pretty quick. 1 wheel has an update that makes the motors last a little longer but the hps wheel does not have the update. I can buy the update but it's just a lot more money then replacing the little motors. I'll probably buy the update after this harvest. The first time I ran the wheel I wasn't expecting any problems with equipment so that threw me off A lot. Now I know what to expect n how I should be prepared for it all.
