Well, I took the ladies out for dinner tonight and though I would post the latest pics at day 28. Sorry about the sideways pictures. I am using Windows 8 and haven't figured out how to turn them yet.

Thanks Eflow, do these look about right for 28 days? I am getting some slightly yellowing of the larger fan leaves. Not much, just a slight tinge of yellow to them. I have been feeding them once a week, one feeding in 3 days then one water in 3 days and have bumped my Nutes up to full strength. I haven't seen any nute burn, nor any sign of stress. Just a little worried about the yellow. You can see it in the first and second pictures on the large leaves. Ph going in with nutes is 5.5 and coming out is 5.8. On the water cycle I am at about 6.0.

Thanks in advance.

looking good, bro!

i hope you feed them a good amount of epsom with every feeding!?

:peace:

They look good for 28 days. Some of the fan leaves will yellow . Especially at bottom of the plant . Try a quarter teaspoon of Epsom salt with each feeding . Could be some mag def. but they still look good.

I have the same problem with yellowing of lower leaves Eflow is right about the difficiency it's cal/mag. The problem is with the pro mix bx. When your pro mix dries out the ph goes up to 7 locking out cal/mag. My solution to this was to feed a day earlier than I had been so as to not let the pot dry completely. So far so good, the yellowing hasn't moved up the plant at all for me.
Also you may wanna try raising your ph of your feedings a little bit, most people run pro mix at 6.2-6.5 like soil

Well, I have been feeding 10ml Magi-Cal/gallon at every feeding, I was hoping that would suppress the cal/mag deficiency with the promix. I haven't added epsom but that will be added to the next watering. Thanks SG, Mainemedical and Eflow! I checked on them a moment ago and they are yellowing a bit more after the feeding yesterday. I don't want to do anything drastic so I will wait it out and add some epsom in about three days, which is when I would normally water.

So here is day 35 for the Polar Lights, I am pretty pleased considering this is the first grow. I had some ph issues last week that are slowly getting resolved but overall still very happy with the grow so far. Some bud porn below.
