Evol's bulk mushroom attempt

I can PROMISE you they will not be duds! They may be honestly the best shrooms you EVER had! Brings a whole new meaning when you grow your own and than trip balls on your own thinking your hands cultivated these!!! Promise nothing like it! I had shrooms in the Dam and wild picked ones in the northeast and non compared to the ones I grew.... Can't not wait to hear how you like them!!!

Ignore them. No matter what anyone tries to tell you, there is absolutely no way to reliably tell the difference between Cube varieties at this point. No matter what variety they are, their colors, shape, their entire morphology will change in the next few days. If your vendor is who I think they are (SW?), they've been one of the most reliable and trustworthy vendors in the entire business for over a decade. Their word would be worth infinitely more to me than someone who thinks they can notice nonexistent differences in mushroom pins. If it helps, because PE tends to grow so beefy, the pinets tend to be a little bit more spread out than some other varieties. It's by no means a reliable tell at this point, but your pinset looks like many PE pinsets I've seen over the years.

And I love the pics. I rarely ever eat Cubes any more (I much prefer Pans and stones, personally), but I still grow a couple batches a year just to watch them grow. They grow so fast, they'll grow on almost anything, and they're so biologically efficient that I'm never not impressed. I still remember the first time the smell of growing Cubes hit my nose, and I can almost smell it again every time I look at your pics.

Homegrown mushrooms are always the best, I was just giving a heads up f they were actually B+. A lot of new growers grab B+ thinking they're guaranteed a harvest of large mushrooms, not realizing that any strain can grow to large sizes (I've seen SA mushrooms that a child could sit down at and eat dinner off of). Unfortunately, B+ are prone to duds. If these aren't B+, this will without a doubt be the strongest mushroom trip he's ever had. If they are B+, it's just not as guaranteed.

I know I have had GT but besides that idk any of the other types I have had. Can you please briefly describe the difference in experience between cubes and the others?

Also is B+ the same as GT?

Man, I need to grow me some shrooms, its been far to long since ive had any. Last time I had some I ate about a half oz and went to see roger waters do the wall live, then went home and watched katt williams stand up with my gf and all I remeber is being curled up on the couch in the fetal position giggling uncontrollably like a 12 year old girl. F,ing priceless lol

I was referring to entirely different psilocybin-containing species. Some say there are subtle differences between Cube strains like B+ and EQ, others say they're all the same except PE. I have noticed different 'trip flavors' over the years with different varieties, but nothing that couldn't be attributed to just the enormous biological and chemical diversity in Cubes. Thai varieties often seem more speedy, EQ often seems more visual, the list goes on. But when you realize how mushrooms grow and all that entails, you're less likely to attribute that to different varieties versus just a different colony of an extremely diverse organism. B+ isn't the same as GT, though the experiences they provide will be similar. PE will be a whole different ride, though.

Other species, though, are very different experiences. Pan Cyans aren't much more difficult to grow than Cubes but are ridiculously potent (1g is ~= 3g of Cubes), with much less of a body load and more visual than Cubes. Psilo Cyans have almost zero body load and are incredibly visual, and most sclerotia (stones) varieties are very easy to grow. When dried they're not as potent as Cubes by weight, but tend to have much less of a body load than Cubes and be much more mental. A lot of people call them 'philosophers stones' as a nod to how mental an experience they can provide. That lack of a body load in other species makes them feel 'cleaner' than Cubes, and is why they have their devotees, no matter how difficult they may or may not be to grow.

Thanks for that! I think I might like cyans or the stones. I want good visuals. I'll most likely expand to a new species once I use up all the lc I have.

I know these are either GT or PE because that is the only 2 types I had. I'm really hoping for PE!

My fiance doesnt like shrooms because she got sick the one time she tried them. She is gonna try these with me though. I'll most likely give her half the amount that I take.

Other species can be real easy. Stones are 'set it and forget it'; you PC your grains, you innoc the jars/bags, and you forget about it for a couple months. They can suck to eat when they're dried, feeling both rock hard and chewy, and if you're not careful you'll have them in your teeth the entire night, but they're so simple it's worth dealing with IMO. Pan Cyans are easy to grow, but it would be easier with a couple more Cube grows under your belt. They mycelium will look different (like contaminated Cube mycelium), and they need much more fresh air. Getting sterile technique and fresh air exchanges are absolutely necessary for Pans, but they're totally worth it IMO.

Before I forget, while I'm here let me pass along a warning I give to every friend who has grown mushrooms. Be careful with your dosing. Every single mushroom grower I've ever known in person has had to learn this the hard way. You'll soon have more mushrooms than you've probably ever seen before, with this experience under your belt you'll have more faith in your technique and know how easy it is to have a shit-ton of mushrooms... You will dose more than you probably ever have before. I did it, every friend I've had who has grown has done it, and every music festival in the world is full of people who really did it. I remember adding freshies (freshly harvested mushrooms, not dried) to my coffee pot in the morning, I always carried mushrooms on me so I could dose to varying degrees wherever I went, and I was still dosing at least once a week for well over a year (sometimes 3x a week, with other psychedelics thrown in to prevent dud trips from tolerance). I'm not going to lie, it was awesome. And other people start recognizing you as a tripper, whether you advertise the fact or not, so tripping just gets easier and easier as time goes on.

But if you're not careful, magical thinking is a real possibility. This has happened to almost every single person I know who came into a good and easy supply on their own, including me. As a natural skeptic who is usually pretty even keel, this was how I knew it was time to back off. Extreme mania is less common, but I've still seen it a bunch over the years. I'm not trying to piss in your Cheerios or anything, and I'm definitely not telling you to have a blast. And I still grow and trip now, many years after it happened to me. I'm just giving you a heads up. Have an absolute blast, just remember that psychedelics can have real consequences if taken too far. I'd just hate to see another psychedelic casualty mushroom mystic, the world has entirely too many of those already.

I am not one to abuse drugs. I will probably only eat them one or 2 times just to test them and compare to my past experience. I was big on acid when I was 13 - 17 but have not taken that since.
The last time I took shrooms I was at an ekoustik Hookah festival in Ohio I think. That was about 6 years ago.
