Seems like lots of people on some forums are frankly dicks.
I have seen few admins be clear on how to conduct here.
Its nice. People don't walk around puckered up acting like they know best.
Perfect example is people like Muddy. That's a smart man. Best thing about him
hes always respectful, willing to share and help. (its a shame he does not go into more detail lol would love to pluck him some more)

Some really upstanding people here that only issue respect, even when disagreeing.

Muddy is a very humble gentlemen i most say and has added so much of his self to the site along with many others here, that there lessons will ring on the site forever....... they set the tone of AFN and they do it thru members like us:smokebuds:so you want to pick Muddys brain huh? well here you go Find all started threads

there is some very good threads in there ..that's how i do it :walk:

I don't want to say only Muddy. Hes a easy one to pick on. He is the type of person that you can have walk in a grow, better have a large note pad, tells you what you need to fix and how.
His value is very high.

Many other members here give a lot. Example easy soil mix.

Hank I have a few thoughts on afn without them I would still be growing just weed not medicine. I use the herb to help with my anxiety depression and PTSD does me a lot of good. Starting growing a little over a year ago afn is my main source for research and help I have been on other cannibis growing sites but none have the family feel of afn

If the site is full of trolling spamming flaming and bullying you cannot Learn..and Most of us are here to Learn..

(We do occasionally get a Rotten one but we just whisk them into Mods section..beat them up and throw them out of the back door..:..)

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Yep, made me blush. A lot of us senior members here had experience on other forums and saw how badly people were treated, especially new growers. We wanted AFN to be different, a place where anyone who was serious about growing would be welcome. I think it's been a huge success. All I have to do is look at how many of our mods came here as newbies and now hold positions of responsibility and the respect they have earned along the way. I think we've set the example of how an on line cannabis forum, or any forum for that matter, should be run. We've got great members and I thank each and everyone for their continued participation.

I have no idea how i stumbled onto this post, but since I'm already here I must say this is THE best forum there is. I haven't been here long, but so far everyone's been pretty nice.

I'm pretty new to growing and as soon as i got the idea i got registered on a bunch of forums. Turns out I never used any but this. 5 minutes after starting my grow journal I already had a bunch of people helping out :stylez rasta smoke:
So thank you to the Admin team for such a great forum and thank you everyone for not being assholes :

I knew nothing at ALL about growing Cannabis one year ago. Stumbled onto AFN in Jan or Feb of 2013 looking to find out just what Auto flowers even were.

I was in a pretty dark place in my life when I joined AFN, but that all began to quickly change once I had found a family here, of experienced growers/breeders that really did/do care about us novice growers, and well, all members new and old period !

I too, have on many other forums of all types over the years not just Canna forums. I don't believe that there is another forum out there with such fine folks that REALLY do care and are SO generous with their knowledge, patience, generosity, and kindness.

A genuine Thank you to all you at Admin, the Mods and everyone here at AFN for help changing my life in a profound way.
