Having used a Firefly, I say its a huge waste of money. you can get the same experience and vape quality from a Magic Flight Launch Box. Its heavy and way over priced.
I have not used the DaVinci Ascent. I do own the standard Davinci. I've had it about 6 months or so now and I love it! Big hits! Reasonable battery life. Very portable. Surprisingly, the vapor is not hot either. A little heavy but not uncomfortable to hold. and at $129, I consider it the best in the $99 to $199 price range. I use it daily and vape 90% of my bud with it.
Personally, I like the Davinci air path design. Its part of why you don't get vapor that burns your throat! and who cares if a little vape leaks there? the smell? What you don't think vape smells when you exhale?
and all the nonsense about "all glass pathway" is just total marketing BS. stainless steel pathways do not shed particles to enter the vapor stream. Neither do medical grade " plastics" which bear no resemblance common every day plastics. The are much closer to ceramics really. and they don't leach anything either, why do you think they are used in medical devices? Can you think of a potentially more caustic environment?
I also own a Pinnacle. A nice, small, very discreet vape. Doesn't produce as much vapor as the Davinci, but it works well enough that i still take it with me if i need to be very stealthy.
I've also had the chance to test the Goboof Alpha. It hits as good as my DaVinci, but the vapor is hot, like all vapes where the oven is close to the intake path.
Wulf, Grenco Science, DKG, Black Scale, Kandy Pens, and other all re-brand the cheap ( use to be $35 shipped on ebay ) Hebe Titan 1. They all mark this low end vape up into the $100-$149 range. They are worth $50 at the most, don't waste your money. I've owned both the Titan 1 and 2. Great at $35, a total waste of money over $50!
