Haven't owned one but have vaped from one, was not impressed at all. I'd take an MFLB over a friefly any day!

I just checked out the Firefly.....Yikes...nice looking, but my MFLB is really the same thing. Although it's made of wood. The MFLB has a LIFETIME warranty and is half the price. Just by that alone...no Firefly for me.

Just to be fair on the threads name. I had to check out the Firefly. Too much $$$$ for an MFLB style vape.

I mix AVB with bud for capsules and yes they can be kickass!
I have an iolite also, have had it 1 1/2 years now and it still works fine. Mine runs too hot for fresh bud. the Davinci however is awesome for them I start fresh bud at 340F and slowly raise the temp as the weed dries out. Awesome taste that way!

Thanks for the tips on the Ascent! have you done oils with it? I've used dry ice hash in the oil can for the Davinci and it worked well, stoned me stupid!!!!......

The Ascent is pretty user friendly. Make sure you do clean the tiny holes on the glass tube daily. Alcohol wipes work well.
With you on the power button.

I hope to be getting my new Ascent in a few days. I'll make sure to NOT have any liquid near the thing.

Been using my trusty Iolite. Still love the thing.
The Iolite is the best vape to test vape fresh bud. I'll try the Ascent on fresh test bud and see if that is just as good. Vape fresh bud on low and dried bud hot..

Keep the ABV...No matter how cooked the herb is. Been cooking with totally vape ABV and get wacked.

I have: a broken MFLB..lol ( given to me with the screen gone. and MFLB says they can't fix it.. ), a Atmos Raw Jr. ( nice for hash ), a Pinnacle ( very stealthy, a little light on vapor ), an Iolite ( lots of good hits without having to charge it! A 5 second refill and good to go! ),a Mighty ( very very nice, very cool vapor and good vapor production ), and my Davinci ( GREAT vapor production, stealthy, small bowl but packed fairly tight will give 15-20 hits! so far, my favorite portablevape). Yep, I'm a vape nut and a gear freak, got to have my gadgets lol!

found out why I was getting particles, the glass screen was cracked! Going to order some spares, my big old fingers are sure to bust one trying to remove them.......

My first vape with the new Ascent was a test bud of Sour Hound.. Took a nice bud from my S/H. Cut it up fine and filled the Ascents large bowl. Started the fresh bud at 157 C and worked it up to 190 C. Extremely smooth. I really do not know how long I was vaping. Very stoned now.

The Ascent is by far the best fresh bud test vaporizer in my arsenal..

Sour Hound is a 9 out of 10. No BS. It;s that good.

BayLee, do you have an Arizer Solo? It works well for me, however I do with the bowl was larger for testing green material.

finally got Ascent from our off and on Post Office. Took a few session to dial in temp. Great flavor on lower temps more vapor higher temps. I get a pronounced head high even with pure Indica, seems to cut off the lethargic part of the body stone. This is great for daytime, but effects only last 1+ hrs, smoking same strain lasts 3+ hrs, and has the heavyweight narcotic stone for lights out. The Ascent out performs the Firefly. Almost forgot, ha ha, vaping heavy Indica I get a more powerful anti-inflammatory effect over smoking it, so much so the other day got me 100% pain free, for at least 4 hrs, that was a good day
