New Grower First Indoor Grow - DP-Blueberry/Flash-Kush Van Stitch/Flash-Cobra

Here we go!!!

This will be my maiden indoor grow, in my newly finished cabinet!

I am trying Dutch Passion's Auto Blueberry with KVS and Cobra from Flash Seeds.

As a test i have chosen 3 x 3l Airpots, (as these supposedly support a plant up to 60cm, which is on/near my height limit) and am using a 4:1 mix of Bio-Biz Light Mix and Perlite. To be honest, due to the masses of "firsts" for me in this grow, I'm not sure if I may have to remove one for space further down the line, or wish I had bought the bigger pot!



I have planted the seeds to germ in the soil mix, about half an inch deep, after pre-watering the pots. Currently patiently awaiting sprouting!

As I've said in my Intro and previous posts, I'll be using AN Sensi PH Perfect, Voodoo Juice, Nirvana and Bud Candy to feed and pamper my ladies!
Light is provided by the Blackstar 240W i've heard such good things about, on a 24/0 schedule to start. I'll be using the trusty water-butt for H2O, because Flouride and Chlorine etc. suck.

I'll be posting regular updates (and crying for help when the time comes!)....so feel free to tag along!

Quick update! The Cobra sprouted yesterday afternoon, and the Blueberry came up overnight.....no sign of KVS as yet, but i'm sure its on its way!
We have had a bit of a warm spell recently, so it's been interesting trying to keep the cabinet temps down (as it is drawing 24 deg C in from ambient), but being the UK, i'm sure it won't last! The cabinet seems to be able to handle ambient temp of 20 deg C before the extraction has to run at full speed (which is, until i can get some acoustic ducting, about as stealthy as a 747 Jet!). All in all things are moving on nicely!
I'll be sure to post a pic when all 3 seeds are above the surface..

Yes temps on the rise the last few days, luckily i have one of those 747 numbers ... lol

First Pictures!

So far so good! All 3 have sprouted and are above soil....the Cobra and Blueberry are 2-3 days old and the KVS is 1-2 Days.

Temps in the cabinet seem to be improving now that the weather is predictably cooler again! Which is a relief, because internal temps were reaching 28 deg C.

I have also found adding a small length of leftover ducting to the exhaust port, bent at an angle, has dramatically reduced the noise levels - sweet!!

Near miss last night.....I'd had some water from the water-butt, which i left in my cabinet for a few hours. I had already PH checked it and it was fine (6.2) when it went in, but, when i checked it just before i was due to give the girls a drink...the PH had rocketed up to 10.9 !!

Guess I was growing some algae or such like....whoops! I'm thinking the plants wouldn't really have appreciated that!

No more leaving water under the lights! Doh!

Also, the Blueberry may (I think) be showing a little heat stress from the 28 deg C temps yesterday....see how that goes! Would i be right in thinking this will stunt growth for a while?

End of Week 1....

Hey guys,

my babies are a week old now, so here's a few pics!
The Blueberry seems to be doing well, the Cobra looks a little unhappy by comparison....and the KVS, although the most symmetrical of the 3, is the smallest of my brood...so far!

They each had 1 litre of water with 2ml of voodoo juice this morning, Ph was around 6.5 and i had waited as long as poss before i watered....temps have been between 22.5 and 28 deg C! R/H in the cabinet ranges from 40% to 55%. My light is hanging about 17 inches above the tops, and has been on 24hrs a day.

Are they doing Ok???
