What's up ladies and gentleman. Long time user. First time grower.

After paying 110 per quarter zip, I decided to try my hand at growing for personal stash. I needed it to be small and stealthy so I have invested in a 30 x 18 x 36 tent. Since the small height of the tent, my research directed me towards autoflowers for the smallness and quick harvest.

I have a few questions.

1) will this size tent work?

2) what would be the optimal light for this tent given its small height and small space (heat issues)

3) how many autos do you think would be optimal for a 30 x 18 x 36 tent?

4)which strains would be best for the lack of height in the tent (I prefer Sativa effect)

Thanks for any help.

Once I get going I plan to log my grow here.

Happy growing.

That tent should work for one plant at a time

I would use and led style light or a cob set up with a passive heatsink the cob and passive heat sink will give you more light and be quiet as there is no fan needed to cool it down.

Check the Mephisto line you will not be disappointed with there strains the only issue I see with your tent is the height you have your pot to consider and your light so in between is your plant size.. Pots are about 10 inches and your light at the top will be 6 inches of you play with it.. So it leaves you about 20 inches for the plant.. You will have to either scrog it or bend it over and tie it down easy to do really

hi and welcome :pass:
not to sure if i can be of much use to you, main area of expertise are cups of tea but will try.
the tent will work (76x45x91cm)?,but if you could exchange it for another 2 feet taller would be ideal.but we work with what we have.
lights not my area, but defo led something like the mars 300 seems cheap n popular.a few new led brands have come on board recently worth a look also.
1 plant with maybe enough space to start another when the first plant is 2 weeks from harvest.i wouldnt go mad doin scrog n stuff as its your first grow,a bit of gentle bending/encouragement till you find your feet.
again as above mephisto are very popular and for good reason to.
not much help, but its a start at least.
:pighug:

I am doing a micro grow right now, but I'm no expert. It's not my normal style. I'm using my Mars hydro 96 reflector, but my cabinet is like 7ft tall so I won't burn my girls. It's like 24x12.

Yep, what they said, sound advice :)
With the restricted height you will be doing some plant bending, maybe not in your first few grows but as you get better at growing the plants get bigger and bigger. Maybe you could practice bending some of your neighbors garden plants, when you hear a crackling sound you are nearing the point of no return. (joking) (not really, bend they shit up bro, night is best so ya don't get caught...Make it look like Spiderman had a party in they front yard)
Good luck on your growing journey :pass:

So I was out on my back porch enjoying a bowl while checking up on this thread. I glanced over to my neighbor to the south's immaculate flower bed and realized you were right. It was the perfect opportunity to hold a training camp before the regular season begins. So I'm 6 plants in. Bending away. Some breaking and some not, when I see headlights. Damn. I forgot my neighbor works until 10pm. He immediately gets out of his truck and asks what the hell am I doing. What are my options at this point? I'm stunned. Shocked. Surprised. Caught green handed. So I told him I was plant training his petunias for a higher yield and immediately sprinted off for my house. No idea what his response was but I imagined he said thanks.
