Happy frog used to be my go to soil for autos. Not too hot and it comes in a nice large bag. I grew some real beauties with it a few years ago.
However, the quality has taken a real nose dive. The last few bags I've purchased have been very heavy and become waterlogged quite quick. It has been compacting on me way too much.
Then this last bag happened, and I'm furious to the point of quitting happy frog. I opened this brand new bag and found it was full of large woody debris, tons of thumb sized rocks, undecomposed roots from whatever soil they are recycling and live seed sprouts in the fucking bag.
WHAT THE FUCK FOX FARMS?!?!?!?
I get that the rocks and debris can happen, and maybe my bag was the one they get by scraping the bottom of the barrel, but the live sprouts and roots are inexcusable. I'm not sure who they are contracting out to in Oregon, but they are fucking it up!
Fox farms just lost a customer.
