Hello,

I'm new to the forum and also very new to growing, its nice to see a friendly community where i can start to learn about autoflowers. At the moment i'm growing 2 auto's in a greenhouse and they are doing amazing. But winter is coming:lol:...... and i'm looking for a growlight that can grow 2 autoflowers in my basement. My budget is around 100€ to 200€ and like everyone i would like to have the best bang for my buck. im tending to go for the mars hydro ts 1000w wich seems like a decent light with good features (noise, dimmable). But to make a good informative decision i would like to ask some more experienced growers here for advice?

Heya!
Im not very experienced yet but i am enthusiastic lol.
I do have the ts1000 and im digging it! I do think id like to try out the sp150 or sp250 as well from mars hydro but for the price its been great!

What's the environment like in your basement over the winter?
If your temps are comfortable, led (cob or quantum boards) would be my choice...

But, if your basement is cool to cold, HPS might be the ticket due to the extra heat.

thx for the input guys!
My basement can get a bitt cold in the winter, so thats a good point to consider.
Any sugestions when it comes to hps?

Kinda depends on the space you'll be using, and what you have available over there, but with a 2x2 200w would suffice, 3x3 would need closer to 450 (approximately 50w per square foot for flowering)
