Well guys here I go . After studying a lot and following what you guys do now is the time for my first indoor grow . I have 3 x Dark Devil 2 x Lsd 25 - 1 x Critical -- Now for some back ground --Soil -- I started of with last years garden soil , as may native soil is very poor and full of rocks , I live on a side of a hill . The soil was brought from the hardware store , So first up I made a compost heap , mainly horse manure and straw , which I must say turned out well . Then I made some liquid horse manure which was strained then poured into 20 liter drums . I also made some liquid seaweed , I am trying to use as much of what is around me where I can.
So back to the liquid , 3 types , Plain , just horse manure -- 2nd one has liquid seaweed added -- 3rd I added liquid seaweed and liquid blood and bone , Now back to the soil - not to sure exact amounts but I think I got it right , so what I have is used soil - compost - pumice stone - volcanic dust - very very old rainforest tree , nice and crumbly - the left over horse manure from the liquid - and a bit of lime . I have a ph of 6.3 . The soil has been sitting for around 12 weeks . It feels very nice , not to heavy and smells great . At this stage I have organic liquid fertilizers to use , as I get a bit more spare money I'll get the other stuff you guys add if I can find it , due to being remote it cost a bit to get stuff here . I also have Mycorrhizal inoculant . I forgot to take photos of the seedlings , I will post some later . My son has 6 plants that popped at the same time , he has new store brought soil and non organic fertilizer , so it will be interesting to see the difference , Now all comments are way more than welcome and any input

Have photos of seedlings later .

Good to see this project going, I'll be watching:karmacloud:...
Man you really have the good stuff for the soil Do you get to do an outdoor grow this time of year?

Using garden soil will introduce more bugs. So spaying Neem or using pest strips needs to be on standby the moment you see first signs. Otherwise they can creep up and only be noticed when your plants looks sick.
Good luck on this effort.

:woohoo:They are alive . I really am enjoying this grow . They are at day 19 and only had 3 mishaps , power went out for 9 hours and I was under watering , plus spots you see on the plants are from me spraying as I had some white fly's in there ,but not to worry I have done it before and no harm done , also I had another knuckle head moment :wall: I forgot to label the pots , now I don't know what is what . I am feeding them my own mix as a base and adding what I think they may need , also I am working on ppm , started at 700 ppm I bumped it up to 800 ppm today which I will slowly increase , they are getting 400 ml each and I am happy with the soil I made but it dried out faster than I though it would , hence the under watering . So at this stage I got a smile on my dial .  :vibe:

Now here is a funny yarn for ya . In the photo below you will see a nail in the dirt , I stuck that there about a week after it popped it's head up , then I was waiting for my son to say something , :crying:Last week he did ask , now this is where it gets real good as my plants are bigger . Well son it's like this . You have heard of the electromagnetic field around earth , yep dad I have he reply's , ok I say , did you know it is the same with organic dirt , it also has a EMF and the nail helps it meet which in turn helps the roots grow bigger Wow dad you are onto it , will it work for me he says , Nar sorry son only works with organic , :crying::crying::crying::crying:
I love pulling my kids leg . I'll see how long I can con him . :cooldance:

Well bugger me , there is no turning back now . The philosophy behind organic is just my cup of tea it really is a life style , remember when I said my wife asked why I was sniffing soil , So little shovel in hand I am digging around in the dirt and she ask's , now what the hell are you doing . Catching worms I say .We have been together 26 years so she understands - [ She is Hungarian so she is a tough old bat ] Now I am going to rattle on a bit here --- Before I went down this path I did a hell of a lot of studying , lots of things I can't get but no problem , -- with what I can get and make , all is good .-- Now I do not want to put any body,s nose out of joint .[ But I ] believe it is a life style choice . Funny thing I notice is the young lads seem to get this idea , I got money - I am going to grow some Autos , :woohoo1:I can get get 3 once of one . Yerrr that's not gonna happen , trust me I know . Then ya go %$#@ me what the hell happened , Study Grasshopper and you will find out .

Sorry guys , right where was I . Now listen up you guys in The USA , we can not get anywhere near the products you guys can . So what do we do :shrug:Bloody adapted , more so when ya in the bush , Ok , so what doe's that mean -- a lot of bloody hard work -- do I call it hard work -- not at all --- A labour of love .:pighug:
Dam now I am stoned . Anyway back to the plants . Wow . for me the best I have done so far . They are at 26 days and most in pre flower , as I said last post I do not know which is which . I do know the one on the left is critical and it is younger than the others . So who ever pop's in , please let me know how I am going , and also all advice is welcome .:vibe::vibe::vibe:
