Plant is looking great! I am seeing mixed reviews on germination process.. It seems like yours is doing fine with just planting the seed directly into the pot. I think I will try this as well as opposed to paper towel/re potting methods. Seems like less stress on the plant
maybe its in how they are handled. I let the tap root get about an inch and a half long. I then slipped it into a square of soft foam that I had cut a slit into. I have no tweezers so i used my big, clumsy fingers...lol! I left just the cracked seed/ tiny cotyledons just above the foam and floated it in water.I was scared that I'd do them damage. But guess what? I saw growth overnight! they never missed a beat. 4 days later they had a root almost 8" long, so I transplanted them ( 2 ) into a 10" netpot. Again, I was a bit concerned with burying the root in the hydroton. I partially filled the pot, layed the root across the bed of hydroton, and filled the pot one small handfull at a time until the root was well buried. Put it in my DWC res and again, a Growth spurt over night and its never stopped! I germed via the paper towel method at room temp with no problems.
