Hi all,

Just starting my first grow (Pyramid Auto Purple) and was told to join up here!

Lots of great info across the forums, its really helped me get up and grow my own. Has anyone any recommendations for some reading? I've read through most of the stickies but I'm hungry for more:smoke:

Welcome aboard, DJ What kind of growing are you doing? Give us a run down of your setup
I can highly recommend Ed Rosenthal's book, The Maijuana Growers Handbook. And, also, Jorge Cervantes' book, Marijuana Horticulture. They're available as ebooks, too. If you're doing organic, let us know, as there are some stellar reads in that world, too.
Very best to you in your first grow! Will you be putting up a journal? I'd love to tag along, and enjoy the ride.
We have a 24/7 Live Help Thread, if you run into an emergency. And, plenty of helpful folks to get input from, too.

Pretty simple setup really,

Growing in soil (with some extra perlite mixed in), airpots came highly rated so went with those.

600w HPS, cooltube, carbon filter etc... Purchased as a complete kit. Using some nutes donated by a friend, mainly biobizz grow and bloom, but also have a small amount of calmag and cannazym.

I'll hopefully get a journal up eventually, just putting the finishing touches on my setup today as well as finalising my feed schedule!

You will probably need that cal/mag as Auto's tend to need that. More so if you have a LED. But you don't. Enjoy your hobby and keep in touch.
