I'm gonna get one Bruv. You sold it to me, but I'm seeing 2 models, one with an integrated sensor probe ($55), and another with a sensor probe on a 12ft cable ($65). Even with the exchange rates, shit costs more over here, grrrrr.
What did you go for?
I am dreading it in a way, cos I've been living in blissful ignorance dealing with the horrendous environmental conditions.... I see your max temps and RH and I know I'm way higher without having a device to tell me that!

I have an AC infinity carbon filter and its a well made piece of kit, so I'm sure the other stuff they make is good too.
Just watch out you don't get too sucked into the add ons.

About 12 odd years ago back in the UK, I had an Ecotechnics unit then swapped it for a Harvest Master control unit , and I found myself buying all the extra bells and whistles to go with it, before I knew what was going on, I had a heater, dehimudifier, humidifier, ozone machine, side lights, DWC with oversized air pumps and a chiller unit to maintain the nute temps and CO2 all for a 1st timer wardrobe grow....

This was in 2013.
Complete overkill, and so many parameters to keep under control. Plus it was supposed to be a stealth grow, but the noise from the fans, air pumps and water cooler was full on!
SO much cash pissed up the wall and a total fuck up. The only good thing about that gear was the Helios 6 LED I got from Muddy RIP.
Early adopter of LEDs, me.

Anyway, I'm glad the Coco and airpot combo is working for you mate.... keep up the good work, and let me know about the sensor... I'll be picking your brains about VPD once I pull my finger out and get one.

I was living in that blissful ignorance myself m8 but I want to try and dial things in now as best I can for the plants..

I just went for the one without the probe.. it's a little box not much bigger than a matchbox with a great magnet on the back.. I think its fine stuck on a pole at about canopy height.

Mate lol that's a hella expensive set up from back in the day. I'm with you on the point tho. RIP Muddy :pass:

Realistically I need a dehumidifier. With the lung room having no natural vent or air in its a must if I want proper control.. and even then it could be a struggle. That's the ultimate question for me. Do I want to go down that road. So far all ive bought is wee Cloudcom for monitoring.. it convinced me to dig out my old extract fan heater and inkbird controller which im running now to see whats possible with my old kit. I need to get an AC Infinity controller to tie everything together and the extract fan with it will be a worthy investment.. ill see what i can do from there. I'll be picking that up in the next few weeks but I know that ultimately i would need a dehumidifier for proper control and with that comes more electric usage more noise and more heat in the lung room. Not sure i want to go that far.

Another factor is that the wee tent will be coming down in a few weeks which means a bit less heat and transpiration in the room and that should help a bit with only 1 tent in there. I can only properly test conditions when im back down to the standard 1 tent.. the wee ones only up to let me get going early (looks like too early based on the sour diesel!!) on the next big girl.

VPDs still fresh to me but simple enough to get the head round.. learning about it has changed my outlook like nothing else has in my 12/13 years of growing.. i wish it was as easy to control as it is to understand. I feel like this Grape crinkle is already one of the best plants ive grown in a while (no kiss of death no kiss of death lol) and i think thats because ive paid a lot more attention to my VPD and kept it where it should be for as much of the plants life as possible. If i can see her through to the end 'in range' as much as is possible im sure she'll be a beauty. Always happy to help if I can my friend. Stay safe :d5:

Just a bit more on the info from the wee Cloudcom..

You can see along the bottom of the graph the time.. so at 2pm the light goes off and we have that humidity spike.. temp drops rapidly.. red line.. humidity rises rapidly purple line.. and the result is a drop in VPD. Humidity is the concern here of course with plants in flower especially the later stages. So with all that I have at my disposal atm I switch the wee oil rad on and..

Temp starts to rise.. and RH starts to fall.. but still not as low as id like it to be.. so i continue to try and tune things in and keep a close eye on what happens when I do what  :cooldance:
