Yes you can mate, it's called the water only method, and with Biotabs you can do that if you want.

Personally I always like to add a bit of bottle nutes just to find the max they can handle, but I've seen many many grows by people just putting all the dried organic nutes in the soil and water from the start to finish. Often late flowering you see some things occuring in the leaves, but nothing too bad.

Definitely worth it mate, we just fitted the new AI controller in a growroom, will use it side by side with the more general 69pro controller, but will take some time before I can share info. These are definitely fun gadgets to use, and very helpful too imo!

Solid start mate :goodluck: and enjoy growing her mate!

Just winging it seem to work fine as well, especially with auto's there is some room for errors! :d5:

Just for info for you mate, I know AC infinity is also working on a de-humidifier, if all goes well, it will come out early next year. I know from a reliable source ;-) Something that you can include in the whole controller based setup.

But I think Teetee was right, once you start linking the products, eventually you want them ALL :crying:

However, up until now I think its all worth investing in it, we are just about to test their LEDs now as well, compared to same wattage/power from Migro for example. Will be cool to see what comes out of it the next 2-3 runs!

Plants look like they like the better VPD range mate, very healthy growth too
Thanks m8. I need a dehumidifier to aim for decent flower and lights out conditions. No doubt about that. On the plus side I have great natural seedling/veg conditions :cooldance::clapper: ill stick my graph up under this.

Ive seen the AC dehumidifier. Looks great. On pre order I believe. Hoping their released early next year.

The Cloudcom has showed me just how bad my conditions can get at times. Great for veg but far from ideal for flower. That may go some way to explaining why my plants tend to look much healthier in veg than in flower. Id imagine a lot of UK indoor growers are in the same boat with humidity.

80% high RH is a slight outlier as the whole tent was unplugged briefly while a wall was painted and that was the result! But late 60s to 70 happens way too often and the lights off spike is harsh even with a heater on a thermostat for lights off. The VPD average needs to come up for flower as well. Love this gadget.. did I mention

Hey Hope, I need your advice again Bro.....

Your Cloudcom is an A2 - mini with integrated sensor?
What do you do?... put that little black box somewhere strategic in the tent? Where would you put it? Does it give markedly different readings depending where you put it?
Would you have to keep the black box out of the light so it doesn't heat up and confuse your readings?
Why did you decide on the A2 vs the A!, B1 and B2?
I imagine the digital screen on the B units would have to be inside the tent.... kind of pointless for me, better for a room?
Is West Ham gonna go down?
Why did you not go for a corded probe?
Do you think you might get the AC Infinity leaf VPD handheld gun at some point? Looks like a Speeding camera!

Yeah... sorry about that lot. I've been looking around to get the info, but not much joy... cheers!

Aw m8.. too funny lol

Yes my man i went for the basic as basic can be model.. no probe on a string no sceen cuz its on the app. My thinking was that my tents only 80cm squared so it wouldn't matter where I put it.. its still gonna sense the environment for want of a better description. Just my logic on it.. could be total shit lol

Ive been keeping it at about canopy height just.. here she is stuck on the pole..

Haven't tried it in any other corners though id imagine the readings would be the same or very close in such a small space. That was why I got the basic one.. figured it was all I needed for the job.

Exactly on the screen.. nice to look at but not really necessary for a tent as your gonna be in the app 3 million times per day anyway checkin numbers.. screen not required.

I haven't got the gun and yes it totally looks like a speed gun! The app has a feature where you can set the 'Leaf Temperature Offset'..
Screenshot_20251108_100956_AC Infinity.jpg

.. to account for the slight difference in leaf temperature and air temperature.. mines set at -2c here you can see as thats what ive read is recommend for late flower if you dont have the gun to measure accurately. I had it at -1 until maybe 2 weeks ago.. this is to suit the Grape of course.. poor sour diesel is just having to deal with it! The gun would be handy and if you want precision on that element of the perameters then a requirement.. but I dont think absolutely necessary certainty for me in my set up at this point in time. I can however see you being the proud owner of a fake speed gun soon hahaha

The only other influence on me getting the absolute basic cloudcom is the fact that I know ima follow it up with an AC smart controller at some stage near future so the cloudcom wont be needed in the tent at that point anyway.. all I wanted was the stats for now and that was the cheapest easiest way to get them and with the stats to see if it worth the hard earned for the kit to try and bring about a quality environment in there.

Hope thats everything my friend and that it all makes some sort of sense. Its 10.21am Saturday here.. im not long up and i smoked a fat Blue Mazar one with a cuppa while typing this.. feels like its taken me 2 weeks hahaha.. anyway.. good luck my man on Oz!

Shout if you need any more info.

PS.. check out my coco wizardry.. still alive and well over 40 days in.. wonders will never cease!

Cheers man, whenever I scroll down and see your airpot, I get a rush of pride!
Thanks for the info and your reasoning... I think I'll do the same and get the basic.... the gun can wait.
That BAM is tasty gear innit?
What was your thought on Sawney's Bubblegum... he said you had some issue with it?
Enjoy your Saturday... mine's almost done, the match starts at 1am so looking forward to some LSD and Hellraiser to get me through it.

Yea the BAMs good stuff.. few hits has that sit down now effect i desire.. I cant remember what happened with the Bubblegum but I do remember something.. back with details soon.

@Teetee I can only find a pic of 1 at post number 6523 m8.. yip.. old skool referencing.. in a 2L bottle.. but as soon as I read it in your new grow post I had a memory of a problem with a Bubblegum.. and sawneys memory would seem to support that.. both are of course total stoner memories so.. ill have another look back here shortly :pighug:

I have an older AC infinity controller with the sensor on the end of a wire, and a couple of Inkbird RH controllers. I've experimented hanging the sensors in different locations. I do get different readings in different parts of the 6'x6' area(180x180 cm), even though I have 4 fans running (6" Hurricane clip-on fans). If I hang a sensor in the middle of a plant the RH% is quite a bit higher than in open space (transpiration?).

Could well be m8. Interested to hear that! I might have different readings then. I have my heater in an inkbird controller with a probe mid canopy level in open air. I must do a check of temps on it against the Cloudcom for comparison. More food for thought.

While were on the food for thougth.. who's heard of nutrient antagonism? Honestly.. I should stay off those AI search engines!
