So i made some hash, i was going to strain it through kitchen roll, but the roll blocked up in second's so i didnt bother, ive used the same bit of kitchen roll to absorb and squeeze most the water out till the hash started to cloud off the bottom, fiugured it best to stop to avoid removing it all, im wondering, without a filter handy, could i warm the water up to an almost boil and crush the trichomes together to remove them? Has anyone tried this firstly? If nto can anyone recommend a decent replacement for a filter, im thinking a tshirt maybe, really dont want to waste the low micron stuff though. Seems a good way to waste 2 oz of leaf.

I think we call that paper towels round these parts. I'm confused though about what you're trying to filter. You talking about the stuff that makes it through all the bags? Like less than the lowest micron bag? I thought that was just broken trichome bits and not of much use. I just did my first bubble run about a week ago so I'd love to know if I missed something somewhere.

my guess is this is "gumby hash" water hash thats made with no bags ?
or do you mean you trying to make use of <25 microns ? from what i understand less than 25 microns is just house dust.
keep er lit
:pighug:

My understanding is that the average paper coffee filter is 20 µm in that prevents even the oily parts Of your brew from getting through
