Lighting Induction lighting revisited

$450 for 400W induction grow light including reflector and shipping seems cool

Just to add to this thread.
I thought about what i first posted and thought it was not fair...
I used a known genetics strain, Tangerine Dream, against an unknown strain, Swazi.
Since i have never grown Swazi before or seen journals of it i thought my first comparison was not cool!

So to make things right i woke up and remembered i have another TD under the LED!!!!!
Both plants started at the same time, same medium, same nutes, same light schedule.
Quite a difference in growth from my perspective.

I am not saying anything against using Induction, just my experiences so far.
There are most likely way better bulbs out there that are more suited to growing plants.
Whatever you choose i am sure you will be happy with.
I just really like how the LED's are doing!

So for anyone else using Bysen LED's, they do work!!

:peace:

LOL!!
No i moved the induction over to get rid of the purple glare!
Sorry...It does look very confusing!
:Stones slap:

almost identical in size.:smokebuds:so you think this is a fairer comparison?? :GoooAuto:

Cool , a close race!!!!!

Look how green the induction looks.
But what's whith the purple stems?
I get em all the time....

I'd also like to mention the led is 300w an the induction is 200w.....

Any info on the Swazi????
She's a special lady.....

The are about the same size at the moment.
Only difference that i can see is the density of the actual plant.
The LED one seems denser and more compact than the Induction plant.
Notice that there appears to be more leaf on the LED?
Looks like the arms of the leaves on the LED are shorter than the Induction ones, leading to a more dense looking plant.

The thing about the difference in wattages is that i have a cheap light meter on hand.
What i did was to move the lights closer/further away in order to equalize what the cheap meter read.
