Jean-O's Jean-O's Genetics : Brain Damage Photo/Fem F1

Thanks Zab! I can't remember crap any more so I write it all down and then try to transfer here so if I lose my notes I've got "cloud" backup. hahaha, appreciate you taking a look and for the points.

Flowering update: week 4 day 1- total day count 66/67

Nute schedule: Moving into flowering I am changing the nutrient mix a bit. Jacks makes a product called "Finish" that is supposed to be used on it's own the last two weeks of flowering. I've not had good luck with it so I am taking a stepped approach this time.

Flowering schedule:

Wk 1/2 - Regular 100%
Wk 3 - One part Finish, 3 parts 100%
Wk 4/5 - Two parts Finish, 2 parts 100%
Wk 6/7 - Three parts Finish, 1 part 100%
Wk 8/9 - Finish only
Wk 10 + : Not sure yet!

Flowering: Week 4 -Day 1: Total day count : 66
Been struggling with high ppm runoff after coming off of the reservoir. Been giving lots of extra volume but they are persistent. Plant must be exuding something from the roots, probably looking for a nutrient change which is inbound starting Day 60.

Here's the breakdown for the last week:

Brain Damage #1 -D60: Week 3 D1: Beginning of adding flowering nutrients. 1.5 litres AM/PM, most AM watering is at 7 and PM is 9.

Last day of regular 100% strength nute mix
D60 AM: 744ml runoff @1306ppm
PM: 542ml runoff @1191ppm

Adjustment to nute mix: Addition of "Finish"

Finish 1:
4 gallon batch of nutrients: 1 part Finish and 3 parts regular 100% mix.
100% : 3.6g Part A, 1.3g Epsom, 2.4g Part B
Finish: 5.42g F, 1.1g Epsom
Total blend: 10.8g A, 5g Epsom, 5.4g Finish, 7.2g B
Final ppm has been consistently: ~880 +/- 5ppm

D61 AM: 744ml runoff @1306ppm
PM: 542ml runoff @1191ppm

D62 AM: 198ml runoff @1618ppm
PM: 2L- 1306ml runoff @1310ppm

D63 AM 2L: 1142ml runoff @1369ppm
PM: 2L- 1733ml runoff @1097ppm

D64 AM: 1103ml runoff @1237ppm
PM: 1087ml runoff @1183ppm

D65 2L AM + 1L @1PM: 463ml runoff @1422ppm
PM: 1095ml runoff @1321ppm

D66 1.5L AM + 1L @1PM: 803ml runoff @1373ppm
PM: 1018ml runoff @1220ppm

Start of week 4: Day 67: W4:D1 - Nutrient adjustment:

Finish 2:
Now adding two parts of "Finish" with 2 parts of 100% regular blend.
Total mix: 7.2g A, 4.8g Epsom, 10.8g Finish, 4.8g B
Final ppm: ~865 +/- 5ppm

D67 AM: 292ml runoff @1372ppm
PM: 975ml runoff @1309ppm

Had to take quite a few branches off of this one. Half the plant being blocked by the massive Devils Lettuce next to it. You can see the stem is a bit angled....... Still growing fine and the easiest of the lot.

Apologies for the lack/delay in updates. Holiday festivities and long staying guests prohibited much beyond maintaining my watering schedule. Sorry.

Day 86 - Week 6 day 6 of flowering

Brain Damage was growing great but has been completely pushed aside by the Devils Lettuce next to it. Lovely plants still. They are a bit nute burned at the tips. I've been running it at 820-865ppm for flowering and fertigating enough runoff to keep ppm below 1200 and aiming for 1000-1100 ideally on these two.

Pics: Just pushed against the wall. Size wise a very manageable plant/strain.

Adding size but not nearly as quick as the DL.

Week 8 of Flowering: These two plants have been shadowed and leaned on hard by their tentmates. The other two plants have been cut. Finally getting a clear look at the Brain Damage plants. You can see how much was blocked from the light. Going to give these two a couple more weeks, see if they catch up with the extra light.

Still several nice tops developing.

that looks nuts, same as the gap when a tree falls in an Attenborough Documentary :pass:

I get that in my cab quite often around the walls and underneath where I don't lollipop enough. Looks like you will still get a good sample off the tops. How's the aroma on it?

Final pics: Got the chop tonight. Day 105 overall with 9 weeks and 5 days of flowering time. These two got crushed by the Devils Lettuce plants that were in the tent next to them. I took all the fans off and got few decent pictures of the one that survived better. Trichomes look quite nice and nearly all cloudy with just a touch of amber setting in.

Ran about 300ppm lower than the Devils Lettuce, kept right around 900-1000ppm but still a bit tip burned. Other than that not a single issue the whole way through.

Some were bursting and sticking together. Found some hair like evidence.

I'll update with a final weight in a couple weeks. I could not pick out any particular scent from this one. A couple times when I opened the tent I did initially think of a rose/hibiscus sachet of tea.
