Just Curious Any way to breed a female photo to a female auto

came across the breeding thread today and read alot about the cs method was wondering if i would be able to use this cs method on a female photo say lower branch
collect that pollen and spread it onto the female auto if this makes since to any one and if any one can give me a answer i would gladly appreciate just received 5 new extra female seeds that i was not expecting so was thinking about experimenting with making a new strain.

sure you could , but honestly you should be going for full reversal and not a partial one or 2 branch reversal if you want a better chance at success

should maybe of asked in the feminizes section too , will have to have this moved i think

thanks fellow afn members i am still a noob and was not sure where to post this thread but i am curious about experimenting with this i totally forgot i already had seeds on the way and made another order so currently i have 3 photos and 6 autos but i am looking to experiment with my girl scout cookies photo to a purple kush auto so basically i am stuck between using the cs method on the photo then use that pollen on the auto or would it be a better chance of getting my photo to auto by using the cs mehtod on the auto then use the pollen from the auto on the photo just trying to get a clear understanding in my mind total noob

photo X auto or auto X photo will take more then one generation to get to full auto , there are a few threads and a lot of info posted on the subject though , if you do some looking around im sure you will find the info you need

thanks bob last question as i am just trying to make a new strain and not stabilize it yet because of course i want to see the outcome first but just by me crossing a photo x auto or vise versa that off spring i know wont be full auto but at the end of the day that offspring will still be a new strain which is all i am going for as of now and if this is correct then the seeds i get from my first cross will just vary in auto and photo of the new strain is this correct

its highly unlikely you will find any autos in the first gen , but cross some of them with each other and a few will show up , each gen will get you closer to full auto , at about f4 id be happy , or if you were lucky enough and watched for and used any that showed in f2 and only the ones that auto'd crossed to each other then id be happy at f3 and only expect very few if any to not auto

i like going to f4 though , less grey hair that way lol

wow thanks bob you just cleared my foggy brain so i definitely will be experimenting this as soon as my purple kush auto is done now if i was trying to get the best yield should i use a pk auto male x girl scout cookies photo or vise versa and then i do understand what you where saying with the new cross Purple Cookies i would have to keep breeding the new cross with each other until f3 or f4 to have all the seeds female autos?

i think if you pollinate the auto with the photo cs pollen you will have a couple autos in the first generation.

Yea im still not sure of course i want to make Purple cookies first as just a new strain then i will go for Purple cookies auto thanks again to everyone who gave advice i am very confident now trying to breed these strains and make a whole new one
