What light cycle u use Vapeo, 20\4? I've been going with 24\0, might have to experiment!!

I used all 3 this last round. Starting with 24/0 then scaling down. Everybody has a different opinion on this, but quite honestly I don't think it matters a whole heck of a lot with autos.

Plants do behave/react differently during a dark period, but that's all I can say for sure

I plan to give them 2 days of darkness prior to harvest.

In my humble and unsolicited opinion, any trich production gained by this method would only be clear/worthless ones.

If you care more about yeild than "bag appeal", as I do, I would keep blasting them with light those last two days and harvest just before lights on for maximum flavor and smell.

I did see a study though that showed 30% increased THC levels when harvesting after a 48 hr dark period.

That seems like a "too good to be true" number to me. I've tried it before and didn't notice a difference personally. Idk, i'm just rambling now

Alright i will update on what i do 2 days before harvest, whether to off the lights for 48 hours or the blast them with light.

Hey bro, I didnt mean to dissuade you from your plan. I know how you like to have a plan and stick with it . If you want to try two days in the dark, by all means, go for it. It won't hurt them any. I'd also be curious if you would be able tell a difference. Maybe do one in the dark and let the other soak up the light for the last 48 hrs and report your findings?

Either way, you're in for some killer smoke.

Hi there, I have just read through your entire thread, all 16 pages and found it really interesting! Looks like you have done a great job, well done my friend. I have just started my first grow, Auto Ak and Auto Blue berry. Your journey has inspired me to start my own thread so I have just signed up. If mine goes anything like yours I will be very happy. Let us all know how your smoke is, its been a long wait for you it will be worth it in the end I am sure. I am dry as a bone, 7 days into my grow so 2 months ahead with no smoke, a small test in life compared to many others! So i have decided to blast them with lights for the last 2 days and harvest when it's light out. Just 2 more days !!

Hey MrZelda, nice to have you here. You can find all the information you need regarding AF so you will have no problemo. I am glad i inspired you and hopefully your plants turn out even more gorgeous than mine. I also went through a few months of being dry and finally when it's close to harvest my fruits will be sweet. There is this saying 'Patience is bitter but it's fruit is sweet'.

Will be doing a big update in 2 days time !
