World of Seeds: Afghan Kush Ryder
5 gallon DWC ( rockwool and clay )
300W Mars Hydro LED
General Hydroponics Maxi Grow/Bloom Series
5.5-6.5 Ph
75-80 degrees
50%-55% Humidity
3' x 2' grow room

Lady Liberty was seeded in pre-soaked pH'd rockwool on July 4th and had sprouted by July 6th.
Interestingly it took my first grow ( Delilah ) almost a week to show her head above the cube!
I have her under the same light as Delilah - a 300W Mars Hydro sitting snug in her 5 gallon bucket.
The LED is quite high above her as it is focused on Delilah atm so I added 2x 12w leds to give her a bit of a boost so she doesn't have to reach too high for light.
I have already tipped her over a little to start her LST.
Will update as she moves along...

Right now I am running just RO'd Ph'd water...still below 20ppm.
I will run this until she hits two sets of leaves then start low for two or three weeks. Maybe 200-300 ppm of MaxiGrow.
My last attempt got nute lock from too much so I am now going low.

Nothing new to report...she is showing her second set of leaves but still very tiny...will update with pics when she stretches a bit!

OK! Her tap root has hit the water in her DWC and she is on her second node. I added I tsp of General Hydroponics Maxi Grow to bring her ppm up to just about 100. I'll let her get used to that for a few days and slowly up her to about 300 over the course of the next two weeks or so. My first girl responded horribly to nutes and did rather well with little!

Set Backs...apparently I may have inadvertently burned a set of leaves by over misting...her new growth is still green and lovely but she now has a couple of rusty leaves. And I found algae in her rez, nothing on her roots but not so lucky with Delilah ( first grow ) she was filthy with the crap...like over night!!!!
Flushed both rez tanks, cleaned roots with some h202 and covered any possible way for light to get into rez again.
I will get this down!!!

Hi bro,are you misting with water or foliar feeding?? There will be a very informative interview in Live Stoners thread (details in my sig) with Optic Foliar that may interest and benefit you. I can steer ya to the hydro section for any questions you may run into,some smart folks in that thread,im a coco grower so prolly not much help,,peace bro

Just misting her gently with PHd water...she seems to be bouncing back quite nicely.
Started my third and final Afghan Kush Ryder seed as well...Freyja...will update on all grows.

She is starting to look healthy again...a little burn on her tips...again, live and learn...my third grow will go smoother!

Thanks! I plan on ordering another of the 300w panels by mid week next week to add to this grow as well...they seem to love the light and for the price it's perfect!
