Do you think Cannabis will be (not should be) legalized nation wide by 2016?

If not, by when do you suppose this madness will stop?​

C'mon folks, why stop and look and not vote. We speak with much cavalier about grow mediums, light cycles, nutrients. This is illegal remember. For the majority of us, we are breaking the law. Seems no one really wants to hear it outloud. I'm curious about what you all believe is the future of cannabis.

If I could not divine an answer for you, please submit what you believe will happen regarding the legality of the weed and when? I'm definitely feeling a change in the weather but I don't think it will be legal in the 'teens. Thats a lot of peoples in jail or lives jacked up because MJ is still illegal. Not to mention the years behind in medical research because of "prohibition".

How long do you really think it will take for reason to win the day on a Federal level?

I voted for 2020 but it might be sooner then that.

On the other hand the United states has about the billion problems that the politicians need to get off their crooked asses and fix!

Now all this is assuming this bastards in DC don't insight a race war to take more of our freedoms "to keep us safe" as they seem to be attempting to do right now. I better stop before I start talking about the man that is I the white house illegally.:firedevil:

Well i can Speak for Germany we ware on a good way since last Monday. There was a hearing if the Drug laws should be corrected and Cannabis be legal for all over 18. The first steps are done now its crossing fingers that we aint get Criminalised anymore.

The messed up thing is that its up to us. The people we vote in, actions we take. Laws are changed in a matter of months sometimes. I'm not going to pretend I know a lot about what happens in that process, I am guilty of being ignorant just as much as the average American. I do know that it could be done in a year, or it could take a decade. Its up to us but apparently, as reflected in the above vote count, we aren't that concerned about it.
Seems like Germany has it going on,, good for you guys Medic. I hate the thought of being prosecuted for growing a plant. Plus i'd love to have a big outdoor set up but I cannot where I live, YET.

I think the US will see MJ moved off the Schedule 1 list by 2016 and a lot more states decriminalize it but full legalization for recreational use will take longer

I believe once X number of states legalise rec and medical, the Feds will cave in. They're just waiting for "proof" ( CYA ) that a national majority want it. Then they'll smile and say, "Ohh, and there will be a 25% federal tax now too"..................

I'd have to agree with oldster. I believe good things will happen in 2016 but it will be a little longer for full on legalization. Hell anything can happen tho.

The only way you'll get Congress to act is to have the president say he hates MJ.
