Indoor Light schedule for interresting effect on (Magic Dragon X Black Durrty Dragon) X Skunk Socks (cheese

nice!i read the whole thread and damn this is interresting!! im now wondering if this could work with all auto plants...
No it doesn't
maybe some depending on parent genetics but others did not do this... I think??it seems the Skunnky socks genetics had a lot to do w/ it soooo many genetic possibilities in the end

one clone

So how the hell do u find out if the strain is photo sensitive?Nice clone..can you keep a steady posting on one so we can follow it through its cycle?:peace:

I will but it will take some time as those are to be cloned and vegged out again so I will try to post more for you about it but honestly right now the only thing I have done w/ them since the start was clone them and 24/0 veg and straight to 12/12 to flower them faster w/ great results so far
but in this next mother selection and clones taken I was planning on eventually playing w/ the light cycles on the next batch to look more at hours of sensitivity I can find
I put this off last time to help out some family that needed some fast help so they were gifted instead of flowered by me

Photo-sens....
Depends on what kind of photo sensitive you are looking for truthfully you will find a lot of in between variations
like some crosses will show preflowers at 24/0 light schedule but will not really go into bloom until light hours are lowered .....???is this what you are sorta talkin' about?
truthfully if one is breeding but not using 24 hours light till true sex is shown they can't really guarantee full auto genetics being passed on they could be simply more light sensitive
I understand there are ALOT of genetic variables depending on strain and introduced genetics to the pool
one can use a fairly reasonable evaluation w/ a schedule like 20/4 which would have a light dark cycle and once flowering sets you still have a good idea especially if you are using shorter more uniform flowering at fairly similar internode level to select from the gray area creeps in when looking at autoing a plant that has a higher internode level before flowering usually more sativa dominate introductions

in short to find them.... don't throw away the plants that don't auto...:)

but....instead find them by cloning and labeling then backing down the light schedule little by little on the originals and find the faster of them to turn sex and isolate that clone to mother plant it then cut more clones and introduce pollen from selected father to the individual clones and grow out seeds and look for the same traits as you repeat to be sorta simple
of course u can go in a lot of directions like storing pollen and using same pollen on dif generations or use a dif father each time if one meets the mark
is that sorta what you were asking or something else??
this is a pretty wide topic and honestly this is the most exciting grey area of auto's to me is how to isolate the inbetween
