That's all she wrote day 81 Twenty20 Durban Twist is getting the axe tonight haven't seen much progression on her this week pretty much all her hairs have turned and her drinking is slow. Buds are fat with funky citrus smell

Day 18 girls got a haircut today will also give the boxes some water there about dry thinking I’ll just do a light watering and put the covers on then put them on the Rez this week

Is there a reason(s) you don't fill the reservoirs with water from Day 1?

Is that a top dress in the earthboxes? I usually top dress around day 30. But I’ve been thinking about top dressing earlier before I put the covers on. I hate having to remove the covers around day 30.

Is there a reason(s) you don't fill the reservoirs with water from Day 1?

If you fill the rez too early there are no roots down there to drink it up and it can become stagnant.

Thanks and yes it's the way Wildbill taught me plus helps keep the soil moisture level better while the plant gets established. It would just be stagenet water till the roots get down there and drink it. It makes the roots go out and search more. My first EB grow I kept the cover on from day one and the pots stayed way too wet for seedlings. That was the biggest learning curve going from fabric grow bags. These plastic boxes will hold water forever and it doesn't take much I don't want run off into the Rez either that way the plant has good clean source of water

Airstones mess with ph IMPE.. Also then it becomes more of DWC plant. That is impressive and hard to argue with

What's an "IMPE"?

I assumed your SIPs were like GroBuckets, just a different shape and small difference in capacity depending on which one. I would have bet a lot of money I could do what I do in 5 gallon buckets, just slightly bigger if need be due to size, in EBs. Am I missing something?

…fwiw, I only roughly PH my water with drops and then top off the reservoirs that are full from day 1 with a 24/7 airstone and the buckets are clear water when I chop, even 100+ days:
