That is so true. The thought of it is chilling itself, never mind walking outside. I'm like you. Too cold and I want to shut down and stay in bed. Over here we are witnessing firsthand, people's utter disregard for each other.
The only upside so far is that it gave me time to binge G-O-T's so I finally learned what "Daenerys Targaryen" is.

Strange that the country that introduced and spread the virus around the world, had a economic growth increase for the year. ..................the ONLY country to do that.

Yup..and it is quite a Surprise when you Think about it...I knew about Spanish Flu.....
(Didn't know it came from the USA... ...)..but the stuff I did know came from my learning....I wasn't Taught anything about it in school/history.

Bearing in mind..it Killed an estimated 50-100 Million people world wide...only 100 years ago...why weren't we Taught about it...

We would have pooped ourselves a hell of a lot Faster...(wot...no toilet paper)....coz the Parallels to the Spanish Flu and this are almost wave for wave.

Seems No-one Learned from it...

Mind....I can tell you Henry the 8th had 6 wives......... ...for how ever much Good that will ever do me in my Life.

Crazy it is. I've come to the place in me head n heart that i've lived a good life, had a good run at it, and will have some good stories to tell on the other side. I'll be 69 this year, and just don't have the bounce back that i once had. So what will be will be

I wore 2 light shirts with long sleeves (arm germ prevention) and 1 pair of shorts all summer......
I'm on course to be wearing 1 sweatshirt and 1 pair of leggings all winter ...
As soon as I get in...the clothes go into the wash..tumble dry...and straight back on the hangers...

And...I'm Thinking...who needs more clothes that that.......when we get outta lock down...I'm going to feel as if I have a full new wardrobe....coz I haven't worn the bloody stuff for 12 months....

The only thing I liked about cold was seeing the women decked out in their finest. Living in a subtopic tourist mecca and running a small charter fishing and diving business. Everything was bikinis bikinis bikinis. Don't get me wrong, the eye candy was welcome, But an occasional change is always nice.

I have a feeling that the biggest revolution when we get to the end of this might be in the over 60's.
I Think that they have been made to feel Written Off because Covid figures at the start were Skewed because covid positive patients were shipped out to Care Homes....and went through them like a dose of salts.

Now we see it is much more an equal opportunities virus.

Gotta still take into consideration we could go out tomorrow and get hit by a bus...

PS....I was 59 in 2020.....Im staying 59 in 2021....I'm not adding a year to me age..when I didn't get to Live it....pffft...
I'm considering going in for a Refund on 2020.....

Speaking from a European tourist mecca...Joseph Shivers should have been Shot.....
He was the man who encouraged everyone to put 8 pint bodies into 1 pint suits......bloody lycra.....he's got some shocks to answer for....

I'm not svelte meself....but I don't have a magic mirror either...mine tells me what wobbly fat in lycra looks like...so I cover it up..

No-one over 15 years old should wear lycra....or Speedos......

If anyone feels the need to piss and moan about anything...
