Hey so what's this thing I keep coming across that people aren't going to be able to buy seeds anymore? I see pieces of a story but nothing complete. Anyone actually know what's up or is it speculation?

Seeds were made illegal through the recent changes to the hemp bill that was passed…

The bill doesn’t become law for like ten more months, and we’re all hoping they fix that part of it.

TBH, most of us have dealt with the illegal seed market…since they’ve only been legal for a few years anyway…

They didn't think it through......I don't know of any method to determine if a seed will produce high thc or no thc without growing out the plant. I don't think they are going to grow all the seeds they find just to see what they produce.

I mean, WTF, how long can a weed growing forum survive if no one can get seeds to grow anything?
Makes me wonder how much the big cannabis industry pushed this to force more business to their dispensaries.

I mean from what I read, the only seeds rhat are illegal are those that produce higher than 3% thc. If we could tell from a seed what it can produce it would sure make pheno hunting easier....lol. Do the feds have some new technology that no one knows about?
