I'm just taking all advise and appreciating it. I don't think fixing it is gonna be for me without any practice or supervision, but if I can repair it enough until we get a new "boiler" I'll be happy with that. They put natural gas on my street recently so we're getting prices to replace all this stuff but it's taking forever. Cost me $800 just for hot water this summer with the oil prices. This is what we've been getting quotes for. Local manufacturer, supposed to be good equipment

I've done plenty of wet trimming and they still don't stick....I use two. One for trimming while the other sits with its tips in Isopropyl alcohol. Mine get sticky even with the non-stick coating, wet trim does that.
....but they all sound good
