Yes
I am literally on the beotch right now watching the sun come up over the ocean.
Good morning

There a a load of DIY biofilter tutorials on you tube for aquariums and aquaponics.

The biofilters contain honeycombed or multifaceted objects which give massive surface areas for the good bacteria to live on.

These good bacteria turn nitrites in to useable nitrates.

Organic hydro is possible but will take regular maintenance and a certain amount of dialing in.

Looking at aquaponics and aquarium biofilters and processes will help with understanding how these systems work.

currently the simplest organic hydro would be, hand watering coco drain to waste with organic nutes or organic slow release nutrient tabs such as "Biotabs" used in Aquapot systems.

Problems with drip systems using organic nutrients are that feed lines get blocked and so do the drip emitters.

Using a bio filters to convert the decomposing nutes and plant matter in to usable nitrates avoids high nitrite levels, but ample oxygenation, ph & ec control and water temps need to be kept within acceptable parameters for the plants and the beneficial bacteria.

Recurculating organic hydro is possible but not recommended for novices, having some experience with keeping fish will make understanding the basics easier,
Aquaponics is slightly different as you add fish to the mix , but there is some great advice which will help understanding PH,EC and nitrite to nitrate conversions.

Cool, Mods, I’d like one!

Hey, you can get a car bra, but I think those have lost all popularity and use.
