Well here's a bit of sad news... All of us in the UK have been signing an online petition to get the UK government to debate the legalisation of cannabis/medical cannabis. When the petition reaches 100,000 signatures the government has a legal duty to debate it in parliament. Well it's now at well over 200,000 signatures and here is the government response

My son got pulled of mountain yesterday by SAR....vacation ended after one day. Boy got three broken toes, broken knee and sprained wrist and concussion:○.

Absolutely sickening... "The latest evidence from the independent Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs is that the use of cannabis is a significant public health issue (‘Cannabis Classification and Public Health’, 2008)." So ignoring the fact that they're basing their stance on a 7 year old study, and the fact that additional reports have been done which mention Cannabis as less harmful than Alcohol and Tobacco (which the Chief Drug advisor at the time, David Nutt was sacked for), the UK Government are refusing it's citizens democratic process and political representation.

Not to mention that on the very first page of the report referenced, they indicate that a medical and social health approach to Cannabis, which again has been completely disregarded.

In a global climate where the stance on drug harm reduction is changing, the UK government are once again showing how dangerously out of touch they are.

That is awful news guerrilla. I hope he has a speedy recovery he is lucky in a way it could have been a lot worse. Now he has a knee that will tell him when bad weather is coming when a bit older mine does take care like I said speedy recovery.

Peteey, I just don't know how our democracy can wipe its arse on democracy.

We have laws that enshrine our democratic rights, but on a mere whim, they trample all over their own laws because it suits them. And they think they can get away with it. And they will. Unless we make enough fuss.

Time for Peteeys and Penguins of this world to make a stand. Are you with me Brother !

Mind you, my dinner is ready and I have to wash my hair. Is tomorrow OK ?
