I've had old bill knock on my door twice since growing (both mid grow) but felt they couldn't smell anything because of my filtration ( but saying that I've recently given up tobacco after 20 years and can now smell my grinder in the draw!) first time was similar to you and warning me of local car break in's, second time was for an altercation with a neighbour... Both times they didn't have a clue/ had other things on their mind
From your post feel good that your family member answered the door and not you ;-)
If I had to offer any advice? I'd say don't worry, relax. Sit down and think if you could deal with another knock on the door?

Thanks for the reply man. I've got 6 days to go and was shitting bricks. I'm glad it was a family member as I may of been a bit twitchy lol. Hopefully it was a legitimate follow up. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the reassurance man much appreciated
 
If you're friends with any of your neighbors, it couldn't hurt to ask if they also got a knock. If they're asking around to most everyone in the neighborhood then they very well could be looking for anyone that saw something relating to investigating something totally else like they said they were. If it was only your place they knocked on the door then it would be a lot more concerning.:pass:

Edit for afterthought: Check your local paper's web site or maybe police web site. Here they publish the daily police calls on the papers web site, so you could check if there was something reported when/where(ish) they said.

...I feel your parra brother,my neighbors caused some issues that had the cops knocking on my door,,here's the deal,first I am in a legal state and follow the "rules" ,so smell or not they ain't coming in,remember they cannot( in any state) enter unless you invite them in,so I went to the outside and closed the door behind me to talk to them,they cannot use smell as reasonable suspicion( at least in legal states),and getting a warrant( which they will have to show you first) based on smell is kinda iffy,,,so moral is do not invite cops into ur house,follow the laws,and :important: relax and smoke one !! Cheers

@Think I wouldn't worry about it. I used to panic when someone knocked on my door, especially when the garage has that certain aroma. I have no reason for the police to enter my home and I think it smells worse than it actually does. Everyone should know their rights with respect to warrants and searches too. That said, this last grow got really pungent and you could smell it in the house sometimes. I'm buying the ONA linen to help with that. But I digress...if you aren't selling weed out of your house (or have people coming and going all the time), haven't blabbed about your hobby, or have some massive grow operation, you should be fine! I know it's stressful though!

I found a light system that is 110 watts and produces light in the 6000k to the 30,090k spectrum.
Any benefits or negatives anyone knows about adding these super high very very blue spectrums?

I am legal so never thought about it for me. But it would make you feel better when people knock if you get something to eat the smell. Ozone scent has prolly never attracted a cops attention.

Yeah I've had a snoop about and their story seems to match regarding what had happened. No nobody only family come to the house and I'm not selling anything so there shouldn't be any suspicion.. Thanks for the support and I'll try and chill out lol

I did have an ona block buts it dried out so I'll make my own scent thing next to my outlet. My hubbabubbas walked over my CF a bit lol
