I didn't do it to hide anything, just to save some money on the power bill. But I still think this is a great tip. I have a kill a watt wattage meter. I started replacing all my light bulbs with 10 watt led light bulbs. They pull around 9.3 watts from the wall. That means I can leave 7 lights in my house on 24 hours a day and it costs less than running any 75 to 100 watt light bulb for 24 hours. And of course I don't have my lights on all the time but it puts it into perspective when you talk 7 lights for 24 hours rather than just saying it saves watts/money so consider it.
Dollar store 1 bulb led 9 dollars life of bulb rated at 50,000 hours
1 75 watt bulb 3 dollars life of bulb 3 months don't care what they are rated at lol they burn out within 3 months for me and I haven't had an led one burn out yet. So in the end you save money on replacing bulbs too. D
