Yeah we love our grits down here in the south. I don't, I think it's nasty, but I'm not a very good Southerner lol. As A4 said, its basically ground cornmeal into a watery oatmeal consistency. It has zero nutritional value and zero taste lol. If you haven't heard of it or had it, don't cry yourself to sleep lmao, you're not missing anything lol.
I have to be one of the farthest person from the south in north America on here north eastern Ontario Canada and I love my grits lol When i hit Dennys up I have to have thier homefried potato's covered an smothered I love GRITS. But I am a second gen Irish man who"s dad lived on potatos in the great depression. He use to say to me son if you don't want to eat that right now by the time you are ready you will be asking me for the recipe how to make it. Hence I will eat anything put in front of me today I will fu fu plataine fish head soup curry beef mexican food italian food. The only thing i have not tried is insects but from what i have found out if you put ketchup on your food you have inadvertently eaten thousands of little bugs in your life time

.:PH Reading..?:..ALL Good Tokers grow chillies...Aunty is on to you....you dirty little Alkaloid Addicts...

Guilty as charged.
I'm a full on alkaloid addict.
All I grow are 1 million+ scoville heat unit peppers. Superhots.
Believe in the power of the pepper.
Here's a pic from one of last seasons harvest.

I'm such a freak for the heat that I bring my own when I go out to eat.

I've built up my tolerance to a point that even Thai hot doesn't make me sweat.
When there are "bugs" going around I start to boost my pepper intake.
I've found when everyone else is sick I'm still doing great.
Not much can survive the power of the pepper.

When you inevitably succumb to the combination of age and heat, try these
