Britain is an Island consisting of England, Wales And Scotland.
The British Isles is made up of Britain and the surrounding islands Except the Isle of Mann and Gurnsey and Jersey.
Gurnsey and Jersey two of the channel islands are British dependancies, The Isle of Mann is totally separate but UK look after it outer defences.
The UK is the British Isles plus Northern Ireland.
The word Great before Britain is probably something to do with the British Empire that was ( couldn't be bothered to look it up lol)

Me fridge freezer is being replaced...after 16 years..I felt quite bereft as I was giving it a last wash over tonight.

I've had it longer than me car..the car is only 13 years old...

This year when I had the scare with a lump on me leg I had to ditch the combat trousers.
I switched to a dress...I don't wear dresses..only combats or combat shorts.
(Don't own an hand bag..I need the pockets..)
Anyway..I realised when I got the dress on..it was actually 23 years old..honest..I bought it when hubby and I first went on holiday together.

I drive hubby Nuts..the Older something gets..the more I Value it.
(He should be Happy..he is Old.. ..)

Just got a new freezer and it is a frost free one!! no more defrosting...yippeee and even better it is an "A+" energy rating so it is saving me money too

The oldest thing I own is my teddy second oldest thing is my youthful outlook on life lol

The oldest plant I own is a clone from a plant that was originally started 13 years ago. Hehe I just wanted to brag..
The oldest THING I own is my baby blanket and a teddy bear I have had since I was a baby. I also own a few 17 or 18 year old Marilyn Manson T-shirts

Once you have gone frost free you Never go back huh..?....

When my son left home at 18..hubby went out and bought this massive Samsung fridge freezer..3 foot wide and I'm like are you Mad..the son moves out..there is only the two of us and you buy a mega sized fridge/freezer..:slaps:..but it was worth every single penny.

My Mom bought my son a Blue Mouse..6 months before he was born..coz she wanted a Grandson..he still has it..and he is 34.
I used to have to sit him in his baby chair in front of the washer when I needed to clean it....kids huh..

Lots of site seem to Think we should be Serious about our grows but I'm from the Loud and Proud brigade.

I'm used to a Veggie and flower growing community and we had bloody Fun with it Bragging plants up..winding your mates up all season about what you were growing and finally having to put the Goods on the table..

It was all Good Fun..that is what Canna should be about too.
