My bear is over 45 years and will remain with me for the rest of my years, well you don't just chuck something like that out.
Yup my thoughts exactly the more fun learning is the more you rember and also the more fun it is teaching it win win.
I like growing veggies but not got to the bragging in forums, it's not always easy to find time to read and comment on AFN, some weeks crazy busy and other not so much, roundabouts and swings eh. Talking about back to front sayings I like "people who live in stone houses shouldn't throw glasses" hehe

I have a photograph here that is from 1919. I have a bag full of old photographs that were my grandparents. A lot of my grandad in WW2, tank brigade. Lot's of him and my grandma, when they were 18/19.

I'm not really comfortable showing the picture, but here is the back and what's wrote on there..

You boys huh..?..my son is sentimental too.

I kept his baby band that went round his arm when he was newborn and gave him it on his 18th so he could see how small he was.
I also kept his belly button clip..:coffee2:..he wasn't so Impressed with that..

a bmx I got from santa 1984

Wow...do you still have the BMX scars...?...:grin:

I had my Only serious bike accident getting a ride on my (girl) friends Chopper..how I envied my friend that bike..they were the Must have bike of my youth...she lost control giving me a lift down a steep hill..biggest fat lip I have ever had.

Chopper were damn dangerous bikes, my brother had one, damn stupid gear change between your legs and anything with raked forks is designed to go in a straight line, going fast round corners not so much lol.
Style over substance he regreted geting the cool looking bike and decided he would have been better off with my Grifter.

yep I have plenty.and as im a bike nut I have fresh ones too.

a few years before the bmx I got a grifter,my sis got a red thing with a lil basket on the front and big silver mudguards.she pesterd me allday for a go on the grifter.I eventually caved in and gave her a go.bored I thought heck il have a go on the red thing.pulled a wheelie and folded the rear mudguard back on itself.did she cry or what !

I have my grandmas bridal wreath and vail alone with her marriage certificate well over one hundred years old.

Oldest Plants I own are a (Now Many) San Pedro Cactus and a sinicuichi (Sun opener) I've had for about 14 yrs. I've got a pet fish that is 9-10 yrs old.

...my only thought is I haven't moved enough if I can keep things alive that long. :}

:peace:

Hmm laughing at myself here just thinking about bikes and how I was non to positive about the Chopper.... My first bike I ever owned was a Raleigh Budgie which was a micro version of the chopper, this was the bike I learn to ride on with a tiny front wheel that made going in a straight line in the hands of a 5/6 year old virtually impossible. Though mine did have training wheels initially.
