What a magnet!!! I have a smart meter what size magnet a super strong one or a fridge magnet. This so cool. I know some one who has a family member who makes the smart meters in Canada. He says they are only good for five years or less and then they start to go whacky

All joking aside this report was writen by a guy who advises the World Health Organisation and is anindependant report. It may have been picked up by trashy news papaers, but it was also in broad sheet paper such as the Telegraph.

Make fun if you will, but right now this guy is getting his message to a lot of people and that's what he wants and if anyone who is pro cannabis wants to be apathetic, then I'm sure he will be as happy as Larry. (He'll probably put it down to stoners being lazy and feeble minded).

Where is the intelligent opposite side of the story being argued in the UK that gets any decent amount of coverage??

People find it funny because were already getting away with it! When the issue is, not weather we flout the law, but more about people being educated and not listening to demonising bullshit.

How the hell are we to further medical use of cannabis if no one will take the issue seriously? The only people who take this seriously it seems are the ones who want to demonise cannabis.

First gen smart meters can be hacked granted, but what happens when they find away to stop hacking the meters. It may never happen, but what if they do....? If there is a time when hacking smart meters isn't possible and they are monitoring your usage, then what??

If cannabis laws were changed and we coulld legally grow cannabis, then it wouldn't matter if it was monitored.

We laugh at trashy newspapers and the people that read them, but moan when they vote for politicians who are narrow minded bigots who bring in new harsher laws that affect decent folk who just like to have a smoke.

In the UK we produce Sativex medicinal cannabis that can be sold to other countries but not be used in the UK, this is truely fuct, what about our cancer patients?? Don't they deserve to have medicinal cannabis? I guess they can wait until the stoners realize it is not just about them anymore.

Drug testing is on the increase in the UK, why should I care I'm self employed no one is gonna sack me, yet I still give a shit about the people who do get sacked because they had a smoke on the weekend. This is partly because I am compassionate about other people and partly because they are being demonised for a choice they made to smoke cannabis. I will defend the right to smoke/use cannabis to the grave.

Soon random testing will be common place in most corporate companies in the UK, the number of people being randomly tested in the UK, is rising year on year.

What happens when we can't even appeal to the court of human rights, because a new British constitution says they can over rule the rulings from Strasbourg?

There are still people being executed for cannabis in Malaysia that doesn't affect us in the UK ..right. Then why should we give two hoots if public opinion is to become more cannaphobic , who cares if the laws become harsher,who cares if medicinal cannabis is unavailable to patients.
Who cares about anything except for themselves??

Am I the only person in the UK that gives a flying f**K? Probably not, but it seems like I'm in the minority, because most of the people who should care..it would seem, don't!

Do you think these rags would publish a pro article? Hell no! No money in that. We need more respected news sources to do as the New York Times did, and publish a series of pro cannabis articles. We need more public efforts to get the message out. Why bdo you think its taken NORMl 40 years to make headway? Its the Little Red Hen syndrome, everyone wants results, but few pitch in to get it. We need more leaders like Jack Herer, Lester Grinspoon, Ed Rosenthal, etc. The odl guard has done their duty, time for new faces to come forward and drive the movement, and we need then now more than ever, as were at the cusp of success or failure. And yes, each country needs leaders like them to forward the cause.

pop, I could not agree more! I often wonder what those "new leaders" will be like.. where they'll come up from. I hate the baggage ridden association, but I dare say that cannabis needs an "Evangelist" or 2 in the mainstream media.
 
I don't believe that militancy will get the Canna bandwagon anywhere, because of the nature of the world and the nature of us human beings.

Irrespective of what people think, homosexuality did not find acceptance and now legitimacy through militancy. The reason has been legitimised is because the great and the good only make laws that protect them and theirs. So in spite of all the laws, the persecution, the demonisation of homosexuality throughout recent history, suddenly judges, congressmen, captains of industry... You catch my drift woke up because the persecuted homosexual of old was no longer the disgusting, deviant stranger of their manufactured reality. Homosexuals were their children, their friends their associates and such. Quietly the tide changed, and now gay marriage is a fact in a substantial number of places because homosexuals are somewhere in everyone's life and the law was ruining people's lives, but it was only changed when the great and good could no longer hide behind rabidly discriminatory laws that were also affecting them.

How does this apply to Canna? My daughter went to school at one of the top English girls boarding schools. Almost all (90%) her contemporaries from this school for the great and the good smoke weed (even the girls from the Middle East and China) they are all now in universities all over the world. So while I can only speak confidently about a small minority, I am pretty sure this is the case in schools all over the UK. What is going to happen is simple maths, in 20 or so years our girls and boys who know Canna is harmless if used sensibly will not be drug testing their employees, or chiming in chatting crap about canna or enacting or supporting laws that they know to be simply untrue and undemocratic. If people are allowed to poison themselves with bad food and pharmaceuticals Canna smokers should be allowed to do their thing in peace cos it's a personal choice that harms no others.

I have people who work for me, and my husband has 50 people who work under him at his job. Neither of us would ever drug test anyone or actively support any 'beat up the Canna smoking deviant' type legislation or measures simply because we know better and we are not hypocrites.

The worldwide Canna market is worth billions. Millions of people are quietly getting their high on and will continue to do so, we will achieve 'critical mass' in the not too distant future, because the maths says so.

My friend Artyzan, this is not something that can be forced on anyone, but I know that Critical Mass is only round the corner. Namaste :Ohmmm.......:

one of them neodym magnets same as used in grinders 15+mm and slap it on the side of the meter,bills will quarter.or just ask around any estate/scheme in the country £30 is the going rate.every tom dick and harry is at it.or cheaper on ebay
 
For the UK boys worrying about pee testing. Those detox flushes work I have allot of friends in the iron workers union that rely on it and have for years.
