I am considering adding a heater to my grow room this winter. My lights keep the room around 65-70 in the dead of winter but I was thinking a little heat wouldn't hurt and it would provide some co2 to the mix as well. I have a kerosene heater but it would cost an arm and leg to run in there.
Any ideas on propane or kerosene that wouldn't use much fuel? I don't need to increase temps that much really, maybe 15 degrees in a 10x10x10 room, so 1000 cubic feet. It has active intake and exhaust but I would just shut those off if I could keep my co2 up. I have looked at a few small propane heaters but they have co2 monitors that shut them off. I suppose I could disable the monitor but would prefer not to deal with it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
By the way, the room is insulated with R30 so it will stay warm or cold depending on what is running. Not worried about heat loss at all.
