Yes he did control the house. He had control from 09 to 11 But then again its whose lies you want to believe. Republicans say yes and the democrats say no. At the end of the day it is all complete and udder bullshit. They are all liars. And we are controlled by the media.

And LOL HELL no. I do like like Trump but not as my president. I am more of a Rand Paul guy unfortunately he doesn't have a chance. I have no idea who I will vote for next year. But it wont be Trump, Carson, Clinton or Sanders unfortunately the top runners.

I am sorry for even starting this conversation It just pisses me off. So I am going to smoke a joint and forget about it.

Having the Majority only means you get to control the leadership of the chamber and the committees. There were several ways they could be and were thwarted on plans. This weeks recent vote to stop the Iran deal is a perfect example. The republicans have the majority in both houses yet lost again. You are thinking that the Democrats had the required votes for a super majority with which they could have pushed through anything.
Primarily, delaying Al Franken from being seated through contesting of his election for months kept Obama from getting the super majority.

Fantasy Island, a lot of anger is bad for the health, watch your blood pressure. My favorite cousin from Jersey. Non political all his life, moved down to the south Texas border where he got tied into a militia like group. Suddenly he got so angry at: "the F'n libs, and the F'n Dems, and the Mother F'n immigrants and that Mother F'n muslim in the white house" (his own words, not mine.). That he had a heart attack within a year. Healthy as a horse until he got a little political. He didn't join up for ideology, he did it to play with guns in the bush. I fear an epidemic of stress induced heart problems nation wide before it's over.

I find that I can get political with little to no adverse effects. I don't get angry..much. I also maintain my born right to say fuk ya to civilization as a whole and go paliolithic. It makes it easier if it's a game I choose to play.
But monsato. ...those guys piss me off.

Me too. Maybe because 1 my back is to the TV when it's even on. 2 I can honestly say that I have no built in bigotry or hate to be triggered. People are people where ever they are or originated from. It's how they act as individuals that matters. All groups are only made up of individuals.

It don't seem fair that monsanto could weasel out of the Asbestos by bankruptcy that added years to lawsuits before anyone saw relief and now they use the courts to shaft any farmer where their seeds show up in any amount in their fields. There seems to be a lot with little explanation how they got there. Just showed up like AOL disks.

Isn't it good that we can even discuss politics on AFN without falling out and name calling etc etc. You can still have a view, but no one calls you a $£%& for having that view.
