Mars 2 700 question/questions!

Hello fellow AF'ers.

I have a few questions regarding the Mars 2 700, would like to ask and see what pops up.

First and foremost, wattage regarding the growth and bloom switches, I know off the power draw, as it being around 300-308, however, is that with both switches on, or its just using that amount of power when either is switched on?

Secondly, for people who have flowered a single plant with it, have you just used the bloom switch, or have you ran both lights all the way through?

Hey, now for the Mars 2 700 the 300-315ws is at full power both spectrums running.

Using it on 1 plant will yield nice what size area you growing in?

Now for the spectrums you will want to run the Veg for seedling and veg state when you start to flower run both spectrums not just the majority of reds (flower spectrum).

Some even run just veg at seedling stage and then run the full spectrum after week 2 or so just to give your plant all the light it can take.

The space is relatively small, Mars Tent.
27inch width x 27inch depth x 63inch tall/height

That is deff enough light to grow some nice buds in that space.

Hi boostxxx,

- The total wattage is when you turn both switches on. If you only turn bloom switch, only few red chips will on, and wattage is small. A
- During veg, you can turn only veg switch on, but during flower, please turn both switches on, otherwise, it is not the flower spectrum, but just red lights, the growing result won't be that good, and the fan won't run, so the life span of the light will be shortend accoridngly.

If I may, just one more question.

Not quite about the light, but about the Mars Tent. I would like to ask it in this post and not start a new thread if that's cool?

I have the 27x27x63 Mars Hydro Tent, however I may need to get some more headroom.

Has anyone got any idea about extending the top? Mars does not sell extender kits, I do know that Gorilla does though. By chance would anyone know off hand the diameter of the extender pole from Gorilla? I could use another foot, if not I would have to potentially get a new tent.

Any thoughts?
