Spreading the Canna Love!
Mephisto Run #2
I couldn’t stand it and had to run a couple of HBSS’s again. They are just so easy to grow, great yielders, and so pleasant to consume!
The Set-up
As usual, I started these two in the nursery. They sprouted like clockwork day three after planting.
January 12th:
January 19th:
I grow perpetually so I put the seedlings in the tent when there is room, usually between day 14 - 20. This grow was early, day 10. They go under the Mars-Hydro 100X3 for a couple of weeks at a distance of 24”.
Here they are on January 28th day 18. They got their first feed today:
I didn't take pictures for awhile but here they are at day 35:
HBSS Tall/Skinny! This picture was taken two days ago. She grew six inches in two days. Yesterday she was 37" tall. She is about six inches from the top of the tent so I may switch her to bloom nutes tomorrow.
HBSS#2 Short/Fatty. She is about 33" tall. Growing bushier rather than tall. Interesting.
I still have two TD's finishing up so the tent is crowded.
Thanks for stopping by!

The Set-up
- Tent = 2X4X5
- 5 gal equivalent Air Pots. This is my first time using these. @Margahooja had great results so I upped my size from last grow. Last HBSS grow I was in a 3 gal airpot. The yield was around three ounces. SHould be interesting to compare
- Fox Farms Happy Frog soil + 20% perlite
- General Organics Nutes - GO Box, plus Liquid and Dry KoolBloom
- Sugar Load Mollasses
- Mars-Hydro 96X3 Reflector Series, Mars-Hydro 100X3 (Old Style), 150w HPS, CFL’s
- 6” FRESH filter & extraction Fan
- Two 6” oscillating fans
- Misc stuff
