New grower! I really appreciate any help...

I have 4 3500k cobs sitting in a 4x4 / 1.2 square meter tent. Right now I also have a cheap blurple in there. Santa might bring 2 more cobs.

This is the only tent I have. For simplicity, I’d like to keep the same lights for veg and flower. Right now I am 3 weeks into flowering.

If I get 2 more, should I get 3500k’s? Or a different spectrum? And can I then retire the blurple?

I only had 4 autocobs 3500k in my 4x4. I would like to add another 1 or 2 when I can.

Wow ... stunning. The plants almost look like they’d pull you in and we’d never hear from you again.

Some people do 9-12 cobs per 4x4 for max coverage but some mix in in deep red and blue cobs but I think their benefit may only be anecdotal beyond getting max lumens

If you added a couple cobs, would they be the 3500k?
I'd probably just stick with the 3500k to keep everything even and I know it does a great job. There were a couple that were testing out the 2700k adding it to the center but not sure how they've done with it.

Good god that’s just incredible. I think what you’re telling me is that I’m likely to get by just fine with the 4 cobs.

Thanks mate :d5:

If ya wanna go BONKERS, get a 2700 or 3000k 1825 Citizen for smack dab in the middle. Run it at about 100w and don't use any kind of reflector. The 1825s have a REAL wide footprint that is about perfect for a 4x4 tent as a chandelier. I firmly believe you get tighter nugs with a little down low helper in the orangies. I love the 1818s....and I have 9 of em here on Mean Well power, but these 1825s are just insane.

THEY'RE called KAAAAHBS Joe's dad's stuff
