I bought this a few months ago.

It tastes gross. Smells, almost like burnt popcorn. I will never use it. I don't wanna make another mistake trying to save a couple bucks but, I also don't want to spend $ unnecessarily.

I really like the idea of Vaping. Seems it would be less work on the asthma lungs. The problem is, I have never had a decent experience.

Do I need to spend 100's of $ for a decent tasting, fairly easy to use, reliable vaporizer?
I went with the desktop. I'm guessing they work better, for my taste.

Rather than read more botched reviews, I would like experienced opinions, from you trusted folks on AFN.
Which vaporizer will give me decent tasting hits, and is fairly easy to use.

Thanks, in advance, for any and all help and comments.

+1

I had one of the early pens and it was crap. Since then I've thought about just getting a good glass pipe and gaping manually with a torch... Keeps some of the old school vibe in the mix.

I have a sourcevapes ghost portable vaporizer.
Not sure if its the type you would be interested in.

It cost me about $90 and it does what it says it will do.
Its the only vaporizer ive ever used so i cant compare it to anything though.

I bought the Arizer extreme a few years ago and can't fault it. You can fill a bag and puff away on it in bed without the worry of burning the house down [emoji16]
It also has the option of toking straight from the pipe....

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252536605658

Someone else recommended the Arizer Solo. How is the taste, would you say?
Does all Vaping taste kinda gross or, do the good ones give a better taste? Taste is a big deal for me. Joints taste awesome. Vapes I tried, not so much.

Well I've only tried 2 or 3 vaporizers myself and didn't notice much difference in the taste. The problem I had with others was that I couldn't get the right strength of vapor for my taste. The temperature is adjustable on the arizer so I can get the vapor to be thick and almost be like smoking a joint.

There is no taste from the vaporizer itself (unless maybe the first couple of times you use it but I can't remember) so any taste issues should be either your choice of weed or maybe vaporizing isn't your thing. Most of my friends will light up a joint (mixed with tobacco) after a hit of the vaporizer because they think the vapor is "missing something".

To be honest, I would have already bought the volcano. My better half is a tad more frugal than I.
