Hey guys i am looking at adding a new led light to my grow box and am looking for advice. i have a mars hydro 96x3 reflector led and its good for a couple plants. my grow space is 4ft wide x 2 ft deep x 5 ft tall with a 4in fan scrubber combo. i am looking at vipar led lights as well as the marshydro, but price is a variable. looking for a 400w to 600 w. any and all help is appreciated.

I have the same sized tent with the same-sized Reflector Series as the primary light :)

What I did was bookend the Reflector with 2 135W UFO's. That way I can adjust them
independently.

This tent is really only good for 3 medium sized plants before it gets a little crowded
and I'm bringing 30day plants into it from the starter tent...but it's nice to have adjustable
height for 3 different "zones" in the tent...left, center and right.

AND, if I only have one or two in there, I can angle the UFO's to work as side lighting.

My 2 cents.

Thusly....

:)

hey trapper thanks for the advice. i am not sure yet if i will leave the led i currently have in the tent. i do have other plants in there as well and dont want tomatoes and beans mixing lol. i am kicking around the idea of another tent for my other garden veggies.

Well, if you commit the Reflector to veggies, maybe get 2 400W MarsII's for the 2 x 4 x 5 :)

Or if you want to go ultra-inexpensive... 2 or 3 of the "old style" 300W :)

I always thought the 144 x 3W Reflector seemed like a perfect fit for that tent dimension
but it's not as versatile as multiple lights.
