Hi guys, just prepare my first grow ever :0 and I'm very confused about how many plants( I mean 1 or 2) to grow in my little tent 2'x3'x5'. Only this size fit in my closet): I'm ordering White window auto and northern lights auto and thc bomb auto seeds and now set up my tent and really need help coz I've a target 140 gr ... that's my 4months needs. I read a lot and research, but still can't decide :0. My lights are 300w led plus 130 w cfl (14000k for veg. And then will replace with 2700K). Any advice will be much appreciated! That's how my tent look like...

Hi man looks good :)
Run them both especially if you are learning that way if one fails you have the other to fall back on.
the way i like to think about it is don't think about it,haha until it happens .Its a good problem to have. but only worth thinking about when you get there.
You will have to check temps in the rez as a test run just as the lights are about to go out on a run so whichever light shedual you want.eg 18-6 run light for 18 hours then test rez temps if its over 69f /21c its to hot you'll need to think about cooling options at that point. best of luck man and if you do get it right 140g will just be your change hahaha ;)
hope this helps :)

Thank you very much IndicalVoz ((: yeahh will do some tests because my seeds still not arrived yet... oh I'm living far and read that seeds travel more than 12 working days :0 and I order Friday so I've 3 weekends between these days and I'm waiting almost month... much time to prepare. Already rinse my clay pebbles few times...lol

Hahaha yeah I have a new setup myself so i know what waiting's like ,also bleach those pebbles while you mention it then wash them off in tap water and air dry.

The problem with those stupid things is they probably have them outside or warehouses, where ever and there already majorly seeded with algy spores.

but yeah all your testing can be done in the room as well as the solution (just use tap water for the test of course)
bleach all your equipment and wipe the room down you never know what if anything is lurking around best just give it a quick wipe over bleach and water.stops things like powdery mildew mold spores etc.

Make sure you have all your equip on hand ie. ph/tds meters, "calibration solution!" etc
You will need to also find out the quality of the water you are using ,wether it be hard or soft if its mains water.
Ro is better only because it gives you a clean base to start you nutrient profile however super soft water and Ro require a Cal-mag supplement.if the ppms of your tap water are low enough and the chlorine has dissipated no extra health benefits are gained using Ro water but it is nice to have a clean slate. hope these start up tips help mate ;)

Thanks mate((: already got my equipment, just waiting for 26w uvb light and x60 microscope but order them from China with free shipping and will wait probably month... anyway not need atm(;

Will wipe everything with bleach and water, very good idea!! Thanks mate(;

What u think about my nutes? I've GH flora trio, GH root starter, cal-mag, dutch master zone, b-52, and ph up down. Did I miss something important? My tap water 80 ppm.

i cant really comment on those nutes at all as i only have exp with Canna aqua and Advanced nutrients. i can say i have seen good results with the GH flora series though. organics are better for beginners. synthetics have a lot less room for error and a smaller target window.
start at 1/4 the manufacturers recommended dose on there nute calculator. B52 i have used but no longer use as i didnt see any effect at least not enough for me to want to junk up the rez. The less thats in there the better unless theres a reason for it. i can only speak for myself. ;)
The root starter i would start at half doses but that's up to you.i see it as bacteria and bacteria to me spreads rapidly in the right conditions.based on very basic knowledge of bacteria ;)Haha

Firstly which you may already know the 80ppm tap needs to be bumped to 150ppms to be suitable for growing it will most likely need to be slightly increased with growth. ;)

:0 what's that mean?? I need mix very very little amounts of nutes on my first rez? And then adjust ph? Or I'll got 150 ppm from root starter right?
