Hello lads,

Argentinian blood here, moved to Nor Cal about 18 months ago and started playing with some outdoor crops. I'm growing in soil and my goal is to have my own compost ready for next year's garden to go full organic! Kinda in between now mixing some FFOF with old amended soil, perlite and organic plus.

I just acquired some Auto Seeds and I'm very excited to start growing these puppies outdoors. Using smart pots and a mix of 1 LED UFO and CFL for supplemental light for the autos.
Growing (seedling stage now):

-Auto Skunk #1 Dutch Passion x2 (trying 1 smart pot and 1 regular pot)
-Advanced Seeds Auto Somango
-Durban Poison DP as well
-Blue Velvet, DP
-Purple #1, DP

After I'm done with the 3 autos I'm planning on having a 2nd batch and maybe a 3 batch of autos.
Any feedback on that?
I'm in the Monterrey bay area right below SF and it's definitely warm here in the fall if it's not rainy or foggy all day!
Just ordered some Mephisto Genetics seeds and after reading really good stuff I'm super anxious to get that going when summer is in full swing in California.

Been reading tons on this forum and I'm already grateful for all the good info out here!!

Cheers and looking to hear from some west coasters!
Any southamericans in the house??

Keep on spreadin the love!

Good luck man! You should look into TLO if you haven't already it can save you a lot of money in the long run. Hope you have a good season man! :D

Welcome and I am in Nor Cal myself.. Can't go wrong with those Mephisto beans I look forward to seeing what they do outside..

Hey good luck to you! I am growing out the Durban Poison this summer as well...starting in 6 days!

I agree with TLO. Most definitely when out side. Seems to make them more robust.

Mine is about 4 days old! Are you growing outdoors?

Sent email and they charge for soil shipping. Might look into it for next year. Have you ordered from them? About $20 a bag?

Its more a mind set than anything you can buy. Its about creating a healthy living soil that can support life. We just grow pot in that soil....lol their are some great recipe's on here.

For sure, I have started my own compost pile about a week ago.
Hoping to use it next year after it's nice and ready.

That's awesome! When I started I took promix mixed with store bought manure, some perlite and a mix of all purpose organic fertilizer... Let it compost for a couple months and bingo worked great. I didn't completely fail any way. I was able to seed a plant out.
Not that it was bad soil, but harsh environment. Before I was using bottled nuts..... So the soil made the difference. I feel anyway....
